I'm curious as to which interpretation mode charters here prefer, and why. I get different ovulation dates, and it's tempting to switch to the one that gives me a better O date!

I use advanced, but sometimes find that the other methods work better for someone's chart depending on what is going that cycle. It's hard to explain! I wouldn't change it to get a more satisfying O date...just if you're having a hard time with it in general.

I used whatever it defaulted to, which I am pretty sure was advanced. I actually couldn't figure out how to change it. But, I just wanted confirmation that I Oed and we could stop BDing every other day and I'd have a good estimate of when AF was due, so if I disagreed with FF over a day or two in either direction, I didn't really care.
Even when I was using it to TTA, I just wanted to know after I Oed so we could quit using condoms the rest of the month.

I agree with @spaniellove. One cycle my monitor and temps disagreed so FF wouldn't give me CH. I switched from advanced to FAM and there they were. I only do this on occasion based upon circumstances.

I usually use the advanced, but depending on the cycle sometimes I switch to the OPK method. This current cycle I came down with the flu right around O time so FF had a hard time interpreting my temps with a fever thrown in there. But this was a definite exception month.
