Some sparkly gold headband. And imagine tights and sparkly gold shoes too.

@Arden: I think the gold accents will be great!

Vi already has the dress and cardigan, and I have the pants and boots, and DH has the jeans and boots, so we will only have to buy DH's sweater, my cardigan and scarf, and Vi's headband and shoes.

@Arden: You guys are going so look so good! I love your outfit. I just got that purple cardigan for our family pics next month That purple is the perfect fall color it seems.

Where is Vi's dress from? I can't find a purple dress for K that I like anywhere!

    Okay, I need more help!!!
We got insanely lucky this year, and our favorite photographer (who did our lifestyle newborn shoot) offered to do a family photo session for us at a ridiculously reduced rate because she "likes photographing us".

BUT, we had JUST booked the photog that did my maternity photos to do family photos this fall (and had already paid the deposit). We were already locked in for the first shoot in October, but I couldn't turn down a practically free session with our favorite photographer, so now we are doing both! The second one will be in late November.

So... I need more outfit ideas. The first shoot will be in a quaint old part of the city, and the second one will be at the outdoor chapel/art museum where we got married (yay!).

I had already planned out one outfit set (see above) and have all the components for that one now, but I could use that set for either shoot.

Now I need another one!! Should I do a more wintery one for the second shoot? Or do another type of fall outfits? I need pictures and ideas people!!!

Note: This is FL, and there will be no snow. And both will be green and leafy and grassy, so winter clothes might look weird?

We're doing one in November for our holiday cards. We're doing gray, red and dark denim. I haven't nailed down all the pieces but my mil got DS red corduroy overalls with his monogram on them. He will wear a charcoal gray carters turtleneck underneath. DH is wearing a charcoal sweater and dark denim jeans. I am trying to decide on mine. Either a gray thin sweater with a red cardigan or reverse. Or just red with a gray scarf or reverse. here is an inspiration board I liked.

Also I live in Texas and we never have snow but still wear winter clothes for fashion's sake. Just not parkas. so I wouldn't think winter clothes would look weird just because there isn't snow.

Ok right now I'm thinking I want to find a perfect, patterned piece for Vi that I love (dress or blouse) and then base everything off that. Something bright and happy looking.

I'd love to see your finds - bright, cheerful, fall-ish patterned blouses or dresses that come in 9-12M size.

    I love this:

Since you're going fall casual for the first shoot, I think you should go more wintery and dressy for the second.

@Leialou: If we do formal/winter, I think I'd likely base it around Vi's winter coat:

What would you pair with this for her and for us?

@Arden: that coat is adorable! What about some colored tights, Mary Janes, and a bow for Vi? I would go with jewel tones. An emerald dress would look fantastic on you IMO. I've been looking for one myself and having no luck. I would get dark slacks and a button down shirt for your DH. I'm going to try to find some photos.
