One time I read a blog post where someone basically said they noticed it seemed that women who were into fashion or home design/DIY were really passionate about one or the other, but not both. For some reason I've always remembered that, and wondered if it was true. It def is for me. The more house obsessed I get, the less clothing/make-up concerned I am. (Although being into running also makes me a fashion slob!)
What do you think - true for you?

I would say I'm fairly home obsessed. I build and design houses for a living, I'm also pretty fashion conscious and have worked in fashion as well. For me that theory is bunk.

I'm more home obsessed. I like clothes and looking nice, but I read home decor magazines and blogs instead of fashion ones.

Im definitely both!! I equally read fashion and home decor magazines. I probably spend a little more $$ on clothes/makeup, but even if out by pinning home decor on pinterest

I love both. Previously I would have considered myself more into clothing, but now we're moving into a house that we actually own, so I'm getting way more obsessed w/ interior design right now.

I like both equally. I have a much harder time commiting to home decor so you'd never know I'm a quite obsessed with design. We actually have almost completely bare walls in our living room, bedroom and bathroom because I can't pull the trigger. Ah!

I go through phases of being one or the other! When I'm home obsessed, my style suffers. When I'm style obsessed, my home is a hot mess.

Don't buy that theory! When I went back to school, I was trying to decide between Interior Design & Fashion Design. The school gave me a test and I scored exactly 50/50 between the 2 fields. I ended up with a different (supposedly, more practical, major), but I definitely think that people who like design in general care about both.

I love both. Unfortunately, my tastes in home decor and design are even more expensive than my taste in fashion. Plus, we live in our tiny townhouse that we plan to sell in a year. I cannot wait until we get into our forever home and I can start from scratch and a blank slate. I think fashion will probably always win out in the end though. I never tire of clothes, shoes, and jewelry.

Definitely home obsessed, in fact, I was just pinning toddler/teen bed ideas for LO since he is getting kicked out of his crib in a few months :-).

I go through spurts of both! Now that I'm a mom and trying to dress my new body, I'm fashioned obsessed. But before LO was born, I was house obsessed trying to get our home ready because I knew I wouldn't be up for decorating for the first few months.

I'm Def more house than fashion! But house in the sense of appliances and such. I don't buy expensive decor items.

Definitely more fashion! I love clothes and makeup. I'd rather go shopping for clothes than stuff for our house. I wish it was the other way around. Now, however, clothes shopping is pretty depressing since nothing fits right postpartum.

I go through phases where I'm into one or the other-- definitely as I get more interested in house stuff, i care less about fashion and vice versa though. I'm 9 months pregnant, so I'm definitely more into the house stuff, getting stuff ready for baby, than thinking about clothes since I'm just rewearing the same 5 outfits that still fit.
Once I'm back closer to normal sized and have to start dressing normally again, I'll probably swing the other way... Or I'll just babywear a lot and no one can see my clothes

I'm obsessed with neither right now.
I'm sure I'll be obsessed with both once I get back to pre-baby weight and once we build our house

Sometimes both. Right now, it's all about the home. When I get down to my goal weight, it will probably go back to being both.
