Has anyone ordered blinds from blinds.com before? We are thinking about ordering faux wood blinds from them for all our bedrooms. But there are a few reviews stating that the economy ones warped after a while! 
If you have faux wood blinds; where did you order from?
How long have you had them? Are you happy with them?

We have faux wood shutters and love them! Got them from budget blinds about 1.5 years ago, no warping at all.

I think we have the Levolor faux wood blinds from there? You have to be careful about measuring because their instructions left us with blinds that were slightly too narrow.
ETA: Oops sorry, it was the Norman 2 1/2"!

@spaniellove: how long have you had them? Also, I'm looking at the 2" so I know it might be different but how well does it block light?

@Mrs. Jump Rope: @avivoca: Allen + Roth? Lowes doesn't do custom, do they? Our windows are not standard sizes.

@locavore_mama: we hate them!!! They came with the home and they look good, but they seriously snap off every time there is a strong wind or if I dust my blinds too rough (and I am not that rough!)
So surprised to see that anyone likes them?
We are in the market for solid wood blinds and OMG...the difference in how they feel and weigh (quality-wise) is like day and night. They are so pricey though: so it'll be 1 room at a time for now.
Eta: we have them in our kitchen and on the windows leading to the deck.

Our windows are odd sizes so they did cut to size in store. I wouldn't call them custom? I mean they're off the shelf.

we got ours from walmart. i'm honestly super happy with how they look and have held up (we've had them about a year and half.)
i mean they're definitely not as nice as real wood but you can't really beat the price.

I got some samples from another site that no longer carries them. But they were actually pretty sturdy! They're like thick vinyl made to look like wood?
@Mrs. Jump Rope: so the cut end isn't finished? What about the valance on top? But that's good to know because the ones online are more affordable than what I saw in store.

@locavore_mama: A little over a year? I think the width makes them a bit unstable-looking (we have two really wide windows), but not warped.

@locavore_mama: I'm only referring to the real wood ones I've been shopping for versus the one we have in our home. They are 9 years old. I wish I knew where they were from but the homebuilders were the ones who installed them before we bought the place

@CupQuakeWalk: Bummer. But that's a good point. I don't think we can afford to spend the money on real wood blinds right now. But even faux wood ones aren't cheap...if they won't stand the test of time maybe we should just slowly do all real wood since this is our forever home.
Gah! We've lived without window coverings for 18months! I want privacy back! hahah

@locavore_mama: Oh, and it's not a sunny window to begin with so we keep them almost closed for privacy because our neighbor's window and the street can see right into the family room. That blocks most of the light?

@locavore_mama: Lowes will cut the width for free and then you can take the extra slats out yourself to customize length. I got the idea from young house love and watched a YouTube video to figure it out.

@locavore_mama: It's more the look, as long as you measure correctly! If you have wide windows and want one continuous unit I would definitely not get real wood blinds. My parents did real wood on their wide windows and can never raise and lower them! BTW our windows are more than 6' wide...

I have white faux wood blinds in my current house and they're 11 years old with no warping.
