Any handy DIY bees have ideas to fix the top of a vintage wood bookcase? I just bought it on a yardsale site for my lo’s room, planning to paint it, but it actually matches the dresser in her room that is from when i was a child, and in better shape than I expected, so I’m going to keep the wood.
But the top is more scratched than I would like. I don’t need perfect (it’s a 3 yo’s room and I like the character- the piece is at least 60 years old), but would like to smooth it out and protect it. Ideas on easy fixes?
