I'm all out of shampoo for the girls and am thinking of switching my 3 year old to a kids shampoo. Which one is your favorite and why?

I found this specialty soap store in Philadelphia called Duross & Langel and they have this kids soap/shampoo that smells like violets. My kids smell delicious after their baths and it truly is tear free (i tested it myself...california baby is not truly tear free).

You can search the Skin Deep database to look for toxin-free products!
I only found out about the site this week. We use Weleda brand for our toddler.

@ElbieKay: love that site but man, it's a lot of products to wade through! Using HB to narrow it down. I do use it yearly for sunscreen.

@SleepyMonkey: this shop is close to where I work. Looks like a lunch time trip is in my future. There stuff looks awesome and not far off in price to the shampoo/conditioner I already use.

We've been using Hot Tot and I really like it!
Works great for both my 4 year old with thick hair and my 20 mo old with super fine/thin hair. Smells great, I like the ingredients, their hair doesn't get knotty and it doesn't weigh it down or leave residue. We have the detangler and curl serum too, which also works great, but we haven't needed to use those types of products since switching to Hot Tot shampoo and conditioner. You only need a small amount so it has been lasting too.

@regberadaisy: ewg's app "SkinDeep" is great... You can scan the barcode on a product and the health info and rating will pop right up. Easier than browsing the thousands of products online!
