We are thinking of doing our first all inclusive resort vacation with our kids this winter - DH and I went to them a lot pre-kids but never with them. They’ll be 1, 5, and 7 years old. Do you have any that you’ve visited and loved? Bonus points if your kid has a food allergy and they handled it well! My oldest has a peanut allergy.

Following! I’d love to take our kids to an all inclusive soon. I’ve heard good things about beaches in Jamaica but don’t have any personal experience.

We’ve been to two, both of which we loved. Coconut Bay in St Lucia was gorgeous. The resort was pretty small so didn’t feel crowded. They had a good kids club that takes kids as young as 3 months. They also had kids food at every meal.
The Marival in Nuevo Vallarta was also really great. They have large family suites, which was nice. Kids club was good, kids area of the buffet, and they have a kids pool that’s shallow and has some water slides.
I’d recommend them both. Coconut Bay was nicer, but also considerably more expensive.

The Finest resort, Playa Mujures. They asked if we had any food allergies before every meal. My daughter also has a peanut allergy and I didn't see any food with peanuts. They may have had peanut butter at the buffet, but I think it was in individually sealed packets.

My SIL has gone to Beaches T&C and also the Nickelodeon one in Punta Cana I think (?) and said both were great!

We went to Hyatt Ziva in Cancun and really enjoyed it (3 kids, us, my parents, my aunt and uncle) It was during our spring break but I was surprised at how non crowded it was. We were there Tuesday- Saturday. It did start picking up with more ppl over the weekend.

We’ve been going to royalton white sands in Jamaica for years. We don’t have food allergies so I can’t comment on that as I didn’t pay much attention but I’m sure they’d accommodate

@yellowbeach: @HappyBaker: Late winter tropical getaways are the best! Sometimes I feel like the only way I get through winter is planning our annual February vacation. Not only is it great to go, but it gives me something to look forward to when it’s -5 and snowing. We’re not going anywhere this year, because we’ll (hopefully) have a new tiny person to take care of in Feb, but I hope you both have fun!!

Following too. We've never been to an all-inclusive. But one of the main appeals of it in the future would be if they are great for accommodating food allergies. LO has serious allergies to a number of common foods, so being able to feed him while traveling can be pretty stressful!
