My LO is 6 months so we can't really get through some of the longer children's books without her squirming. I'm getting quite sick of The Going to Bed Book! Any favorites you have?

I don't have a recommendation but I'm about to start incorporating a story into the bed time routine, DS is 5 months this week and I think he might be ready for it, and I was hoping I could pick your more experienced brains a little as to how your routine looks? Is it bath, PJ, bottle/nurse and then story or do you do the story first? Or something else?

I have tons of favorites. I have a whole set by Sandra Boynton (9 books)
I love Good night moon. We also have two compilations: one poetry, one mother goose rhymes--so I can read till he's bored.

We rotate between Goodnight Moon, Going to Bed Book, and Time for Bed. Or sometimes I will just read a bit of a longer book. I LOVE Time for Bed. Mem Fox books are so beautiful!

@London Mama: Our routine is bath, PJ, bottle, book, diaper change, bed. I think 5 months is a great time to start incorporating a book into the bedtime routine. I think that's when my LO really started paying attention!
