My daughter wanted a Princess Pajama party but i think we are now going to hold it at a hotel that rents out a conference room/pool for parties. That theme doesn't really work with a Pool Party, so i think i'm going to try and convince her to do a Mermaid party. But have you had any recent themes you've loved?
