I'm pretty cheap, but Old Navy jeans have always fit me well. They're like $30, and last a reasonably long time. My current faves are the Rockstar skinnies.

I've always had better luck with Gap than Old Navy, so I'm worried about they're having changed the fit! I do like J.Crew's jeans, if I find them on sale.

I like gap jeans. I do agree that the quality isn't what it used to be, but I usually buy them when they are heavily discounted or on sale and rarely spend more than $35

@BelugaBean: I definitely find that Old Navy jeans' fit is inconsistent! That being said, I tend to wear Old Navy jeans anyway. They're cheap and last a while. I also got a pair of Lucky jeans on sale (normally $90, I think I got them for $55) and I really like those. I liked that when I went to the store they helped me find the perfect fit.

I always go with BKE jeans. They last forever so I don't buy a pair of jeans very often. I maybe buy 1 pair every 1-2 years (however I wear leggings quite a bit, so I don't need jeans often) I probably spend $60 - $80 on a pair?

urban outfitters bdg brand! i think they are maybe 60 though?

I typically get my jeans from shopko now, they fit me the best and they're on sale often for about $35 or so.

Target has this Denizen brand that is super comfortable and stretchy in all the right place and not too low rise on me at least. I'm not sure how long they last since I just bought them a month ago but very affordable so might be worth a shot.

As horrible as it sounds, I love the last pair I bought at Wal-mart. They were only $16 but fit just right, and are a great dark color.

Loft, Express, & Mavi jeans are my faves in that price range!

@BelugaBean: I like the rockstar skinny MIDRISE! All caps b/c that's important to me. Luckily someone gave me the heads up to go up at least 2 sizes so I wasn't trying to squeeze into my regular size. There's more of a selection online.

I've had good luck with BR outlet and lucky outlet. They both had mid rise which works a lot better for me post-baby

I love Jeans from the Loft & Express. They both fit so well and are reasonably priced!

BDG from Urban Outfitters are my faves. I feel like they're the only jeans I have that don't get all stretched out and saggy. My second would be American Eagle.

Uniqlo jeans!! They're $39.90 and fantastic. Great quality. You can order them online if you're not in NY.

I always look at the clearance/sale racks at Nordstrom. I can usually find so etching for about $50 that will hold up well for a couple years and look really decent. I'm not picky on brand and look at fit and wash mostly.

Everyone makes fun of me when they find out, but I love my Charter Club jeans (the store brand at Macy's). They're always on sale for $20-40. But on a lot of people they just look like really sad, relaxed "mom jeans," so you really have to find what fits you, I think. Fancy expensive jeans never fit me.
