Besides your own kid names what are some other names you've heard lately that you love?
For me Georgia for a girl (they call her Gigi)
For a boy I love the name Kade, just different but simple.

Greta- I briefly considered it before my second was born but every time I hear it I just really really like it. But even if we had a third girl it's out because it sounds too similar to the baby's name.

I haven't heard a boys name I really like. I have a hard time with those.
I heard Leonore lately and love it! DH was really confused on how to pronounce it.

When we were brainstorming names for our LO, I'd heard but didn't care too much for Everly. But I recently saw a beautiful little girl with that name & she made me reconsider.

@GoGoSnoGirl: @stargal: It's a girls name. Another variation is Leonora. The 'o' is silent.. kinda like how the 'o' is pronounced in Leonard. So, it is Le-nor or Le-norah.

@Eko: Eleonora ( El Nora) is my mom's middle name, another variation and not as popular as Eleanor.

@stargal: Yup!!! I came across it because it was DHs great grandmothers name. He saw it and was like 'that's an odd name'

@birdofafeather: That was my #1 pick for DS. My husband hated it. I fought for it every day until birth. I didn't win.

@Eko: I know it's not spelled the same, but I can't help but think of that Edgar Allen Poe poem The Raven (he keeps asking for "Lenore").

I have a Georgia too. Though we call her G quite a bit, never Gigi.
A friend called her baby Evangeline and I love, love, love it.
