I really need new underwear. I keep buying cheap Walmart stuff and it is just not cutting it. I usually wear thongs during the day and boy shorts to sleep but I'm open to any recommendations that are comfortable and are VPL free!

I love the underwear from Soma, if you wait for it to go on sale they have underwear that doesn't give VPL but you don't have to wear a thong! I think they are having another online sale where you can get 7 pairs for $30 or $35 and they last forever

@Mrs. Bee: I tried Aerie at the recommendations of other bees and really like them.

@jey34: ditto to soma!!! They have lots of different styles, and often have sales. I recently used the 30% off a $150 purchase, plus the free panty with any bra purchase (needed non-nursing bras), and purchased 4 bras, 8 pairs of underwear for $130. Their bras are the best ever!

I've always been a Jockey fan. Their underwear holds up well over time and wear.

@dc yoga bee: the vanishing edge ones are my favorite! I can wear them with leggings and nothing shows, never have to wear a thong again! Never tried their bras but now I will have to!

I just tried the seamless Gilligan & O'Malley from Target (5 for $20) and I love them! No VPL and super comfy and you can't beat the price.

Love the Hanky Panky boy shorts because they don't ride up on me as much as other brands. They are pricey but last me forever (and I even throw them in the dryer).

Natori Bliss from Nordstrom. Soft, seamless, non scratchy lace detail at top, comes in different cuts, and match their bras which are the only kind I wear now.

Dillards brand is great. Cabernet or something like that. Usually 5 for $25.

I don't care what brand, but the waist band must be lace trimmed! To me those are way more comfortable!
