Just sitting here watching Netflix and munching on oyster crackers and I realized ... that’s kind of unusual.

A piece of bread with peanut butter and a little bit of granulated sugar sprinkled on top. My mom used to give that to me as a snack when I was little and her mom used to make it for her. Or dry frosted mini wheats straight from the box, which my husband thinks is disgusting.

Marinated (like semi pickled) roasted red peppers straight from the jar.

@LadyDi: ooh, I prefer dry mini wheats because the frosting is delicious but they get soggy so quickly

Not so much anymore, but growing up my favourite snack was a bowl of frozen mixed vegetables.

@LadyDi: @crazydoglady: my mom used to make us either peanut butter & sugar, peanut butter & honey, or peanut butter & banana sandwiches. Love all of them still.
I like applesauce and cottage cheese mixed together, which most people outside of my family thinks it's gross or looks gross

I love snacking on corn on the cob. My DH says it’s a weird snack and that no one snacks on corn

@wrkbrk: I grew up snacking on oyster crackers! My mom would keep them in this container and we'd pour ourselves a little bowl.
Growing up, my little brother and I would get a whole pickle, cut off the top and scoop out the insides with this little baby spoon and then fill it with peanut butter. Then we'd cut it into slices and eat them. Part of me wants to try that again.....

@LadyDi: Totally dry mini wheats! How is that gross?? I also like the blueberry ones.

I don't think it's that weird... but my go to is pepperoni. I always have some on hand.
It was more odd in college when my grampa would send me the 2 ft long pepperoni log and when we'd get home from the "parties" my room mate and I would take turns knawing on it...

@LadyDi i thought everyone ate cereal dry as a snack! i think of it as a semi healthy and cheap school snack for the kids haha.
my daughter likes frozen peas in a bowl
i'll eat basically anything as a snack so can't think of anything in particular :).
i do remember being in elementary school and seeing some friends eat dry pasta (uncooked) as a snack - i thought that was unique.

@tysonja: I went through a phase of eating dry ramen as a snack. I tried other dry pasta and it was terrible.

@Mrsbells: Yeah, that generic mix of peas, carrots in little squares, and corn, straight from the freezer into a bowl into my weird ten year old mouth.
