@bhbee: These POAS threads are wonderful, I know my husband likes that I have people to talk to who aren't him and also understand what I'm going through.

@periwinklebee: For your sake I hope things move along quickly. I cannot imagine feeling all the symptoms but at the same time knowing its not working. I'm sending you hugs and other good thoughts and hope you can take care of yourself.

@Tionn3: I would agree that cycle irregularities are a regular OB/GYN thing

Hugs to everyone!!!
My CM since last night has been super watery, to the point where I keep going to the bathroom just to wipe it off. I sneezed earlier and thought I peed my pants!
I'm really trying to wait, but I'm about to get hives from this POAS addiction.....

@madisonbee: I've had a ton of watery cm too. So confusing.
I would almost think I was ovulating again.

@mrskansas: I know, it feels like I'm going back to the beginning.
And I have no symptoms whatsoever.

@madisonbee: when's the last time you peed on something? I'm itching to see another test in this thread!
pomegranate / 3212 posts
@mrskansas: and you! Poas recently? Not that I want to encourage you if you're trying not to but....

@madisonbee: wasn't af due yesterday? *not weird for me to think/know that*
nectarine / 2813 posts
@knittylady: Nope. Unless I start having weird symptoms or something I'm not doing anything until my doctor appointment on the 16th. If I haven't gotten my period by then I'm sure they will do a urine test so I'll know then!
My body is so confusing I have basically given up!

@madisonbee: Is it possible that you geared up to ovulate and then you didn't? That could explain the bleeding. You might try some OPKs now if you're experiencing fertile CM - your body could be gearing up again.
pear / 1677 posts
@knittylady: I dunno....was it? LOL. At this point, you might know better than I do!
@mrskansas: So ovulation bleeding can do this too? Well....I guess I'll try an OPK today after work. We DTD yesterday and this morning, but before that was last Wednesday 2/1. So, knowing my luck, I missed the prime time to BD.
nectarine / 2813 posts
@madisonbee: well I've read that if your body tries to ovulate and fails, you could have "withdraw" bleeding until your estrogen starts to rise again.
pear / 1677 posts
@mrskansas: Wow. Interesting. Now I'm curious about my OPKs later today.

I think for my next cycle, I'm gonna bite the bullet and start taking my temp. Clearly, my cycles are not predictable and the OPKs are just contributing to the frustration.

@bhbee: @snarkybiochemist: Thank you I know in the grand scheme of things the waiting is not a big deal. It's not that long, and I could feel a lot worse. Plus, I think it does force me to deal with the emotional side of things, because I can't just forget and pretend like it didn't happen. Still, I will be relieved when it's over. I go in for another ultrasound Friday morning, and hopefully by then things will have taken their natural course and we can schedule a d&c.
@madisonbee: I like temping as a confirmation of the opks, which can sometimes be confusing.
cantaloupe / 6086 posts
@madisonbee: if you haven't temped before i agree it's very helpful! At least to do a couple cycles and get to know your cycle (or its weirdness). Well hopefully just one cycle

@madisonbee: I liked the data I got from temping and it gave me good insight into what my body was doing. The first few days I got really rubbish sleep though because I was worried about not getting enough sleep to meet the requirements for temping. I used the mabis thermometer, it was $8 off amazon.
@periwinklebee: working through all of your emotions is definitely good and hopefully you find peace

In the continuing saga of the most confusing cycle ever, I think I may just now be ovulating. I have lots of ewcm and got this positive opk this afternoon.
When I got the last positive opk, I came down with the flu the same day so I wonder if it could have delayed ovulation.

@mrskansas: looks like you are still in the game! Really sorry though about the confusing cycle...

Does anyone know if late ovulation can be a bad thing? I'm on cycle day 32 and worried that I have an old egg or something

@mrskansas: what a roller coaster this cycle is!!! I ovulated late on the cycle I conceived DS. Get it girl!

@mrskansas: no advice, but when I ovulated on cd56 last cycle I had the same concern
cantaloupe / 6791 posts
@mrskansas: Just popping in to say I have long cycles and I've gotten pregnant 4 times between CD 27-31. The first was a m/c, but the other 3 were successful pregnancies Good luck!

You guys, I am so bummed. Looks like there is going to be a giant snow storm on the east coast Thurs, and I really don't think I'm likely to get back for my ultrasound Fri morning. My doctor is only in the office Thurs/Fri - you have to see your doctor if it's not an emergency - so I think this could mean being pregnant for at least another week. Prob longer, since the weekend after next is a long weekend.
I'm so used to New England weather screwing things up, I don't usually get upset about it, but I'm just so over feeling nauseated and exhausted. Snow only happens when I really need to get home, it never snows the day I'm leaving so I'd have an excuse not to go. I more or less swore off winter travel for that reason but made some obligations this year. I know there are worse things, but I was really hoping to get some closure, schedule a D&C, and start feeling normal sooner rather than later.
@mrskansas: The cycle I got a BFP was the one cycle I ovulated late. It obviously wasn't a great egg, but presumably was better than the ones from my usual ovulation on CD13.

@periwinklebee: Snow sucks, I'm sorry you might not get home for your ultrasound and really hope you don't have to stay pregnant for too much longer

@snarkybiochemist: Thanks The TTC gods have conspired to try to make me a more patient person at every possible opportunity
nectarine / 2180 posts
@periwinklebee: The TTC gods need to realize we are patient enough and would just like our healthy babies

@periwinklebee: weather always has a way of screwing up one's plans. I'm sorry this is happening. Hopefully there's a chance you can get back by Friday and things go smoothly

Here's a change from stick pics. I was planning on baking something and then my mind wandered...so I'm eating this straight out of the bag.

@madisonbee: I love eating chocolate chips with roasted almonds. Yum
