Jumping on as a cheerleader this cycle. We'll be starting another IVF cycle around Feb 20/21 when AF comes, but technically our POAS date for the cycle will be mid-March. Unless of course Greece proves miraculously fruitful. Lol.

1.) Do you have any "sweet" Valentine's Day plans this year? nope. If I do get pregnant, that would be prime waiting for a MC time, so I think I don't know if I'll be in the mood to do anything
I did Femara this cycle, not because I wasn't ovulating but because my RE thought we might get more than 1 mature follicle out of it to give us a better chance of a healthy fertilized egg. Unfortunately, I've only got one, so we'll see. I'm *very* nervous about giving myself the trigger tomorrow. My DH is terrible about needles, so I'm going to do it myself. Plus, if this cycle doesn't work, we might move on to IVF with PGD, so I need to see if I can handle jabbing myself.

--- DH and I order food in for us (and the kids). I give the kids token gifts for being my "little Valentine's" and give DH something as well. We watch movies as a family until the kids go to sleep. DH and I usually, then, have wine, start a fire, and spend time together. It is out tradition at this point.
2.) If not Valentine's Day, what is your FAVORITE holiday and why?
--- I love Valentine's day, however, (as my DD says) Halloween is my jam. π€£ I love dressing up and watching kids pretend to be whatever they wish. We do a family theme costume (last year was the Incredibles, but we have done Day of the Dead, Superheroes, Jem and the Holigrams [DD'S idea & DH hated it π€£], Disney Character mash-up, Alice in Wonderland, Bumble bees with a bee catcher, 101 Dalmatians, Mickey with 2 Minnies, monsters, 3 pigs ...) So much fun!

@Sams Mom: This morning is a very very light "realsies." (Like only comes out when I use the powder room or lift heavy objects.) I'm glad the RE's office contacted me last night. The one -time spotting in the morning was not usual for me (By evening it picked up a bit). The nausea was the quick drop of progesterone according to the nurse. My temps this morning are now at 97.92Β°F (barely above cover). The RE wants me in tomorrow since I start with medial follicles by the time AF begins (which causes my early OV) but they never get beyond 15 mm and probably contain immature ovum. He thinks this cycle of meds may help to grow and mature them effectively.

@Kaohinani: It wasn't too bad. It didn't really hurt. Though I also totally forgot to push out any air bubbles first and I'm not sure I got it at the right angle. I think I'm going to test with a wondfo tomorrow just to make sure the hcg is in my system

Our family is not big on celebrating anything very elaborately, Christmas is probably the biggest holiday in our calendar. We love making ordinary days extraordinary though, it doesn't have to be anything huge, but we love to take time and eat a nice dinner, watch a good movie and eat cake in bed or go for a nice long drive just to eat donuts in a city 130km away and then come right back home.

Ahh Iβm going to join. After four losses last year these will be my last few months of ttc regardless of outcome, it is too exhausting! Planning for hubby to do a vasectomy in May so we can both move on.
Cycle day: 8
Ttc cycle: no idea
Ovulation date: approx Jan 31? Feb 01?
POAS: hopefully will hold out until V-day
Baby#: 3!
No plans for vday! Hubby travels a lot so if he is in town we usually do champagne and Ben and jerryβs Haha

Hey ladies... I'm jumping back in. I've been MIA in posting the past few weeks but I fear I am about to drive myself or DH insane with all of my TTC thoughts. I need some support!

β’ TTC Cycle: I think this is our 5th cycle since our miscarriage
β’ Ovulation Date: Who freakin' knows! According to the past few months it should have been yesterday but I have yet to get a positive OPK. So now I'm worried that I am going to ovulate too late or not at all. Ugh! We are soon approaching my due date from my miscarriage and I am feeling discouraged and sliding back into some grief processing of it all.

I'm off to a great start this cycle. I take a break from temping in the beginning of each cycle and I wanted to start again yesterday on cd7, but I have forgotten to take my temp two days in a row. I hope I can get it together before ov.

1.) Do you have any "sweet" Valentine's Day plans this year? Nope, not really my jam and it's always a very busy time od year at work. I'm helping DD make Valentine's this year to mail out to family.
2.) If not Valentine's Day, what is your FAVORITE holiday and why? I mean - Christmas for all the fun things it brings but I also hate being cold!
My first month taking OPKs. I bought a BBT if this isn't my month but timing seems good. I've been more on top of taking prenatals and Vit D plus I've been taking Omega 3 which is where my diet is most lacking. I am also on the biggest water kick - goal is 64 ounces at least and I've noticed it affecting my skin already. It's been interesting timing OPKs around chugging water but I got an obvious pos 1/23.
Do you ladies take any supplements other than prenatal vitamins?

@Clementine12: Hi, and great to see you! To respond to your inquiry, besides a prenatal vitamin, I take a prenatal DHA supplement and extra folic acid. I also drink bone broth during the follicular phase (added protein/amino acids, calcium, and collagen) and eat pineapple chunks and core (bromeline) during the TWW. I will have to cut out the pineapple though as I have been on a ketogenic diet to manage my epilepsy

@fuzzypeaches: So much luck to you!! I've also had 4 losses in the last year. It's just the worst. Because I can't even get excited about a positive test now. It sort of means nothing at the start. Interesting that you're talking about a vasectomy for your DH. We were having the same discussion. If I just wasn't getting pregnant at all, we could say that we'll stop actively trying and maybe it will happen on it's own randomly, but with so many losses, we need to make more of an active decision to stop, and that's hard. I'm trying to remember, have you worked with an RE? Would you consider IVF with genetic testing?

Sorry for the long answer lol.
This time around it was tough to decide to try again as my other kids are getting older (will be 4 and 6 this year) and so we decided to try for a 2019 baby as our school cut off is dec 31 and so only 4 grades apart.
I did see an RE who is calling it unexplained. So this round am trying high dose folate (5mg), baby asa, and progesterone 200mg starting at 3dpo. I have tried the folate and aspirin before but this is my first time with progesterone.
Anyway, I like you get pregnant easily and if I just let things be to chance would likely keep getting pregnant. But my body is also tired with all these losses and emotionally and for our marriage I think we just need A stop date and honestly I need an irreversible one (or I would keep hoping, hence vascectomy )
What are you trying this time?

@Chuckles: I re read the question! As for pgd both our karyotyped came back normal and my first loss had a normal nipt.
It was offered but I donβt think I will go down that route for now anyways. Are you thinking about it?
