@Mrs.Panda: We have the City Select and I totally want the orbit stroller
pomegranate / 3045 posts
When you guys test, do you generally use a FRER? I didn't have any of those this month, so today I just tested with a digital and a FR Rapid Results. I'm not sure what the sensitivity of those are, but I imagine since I'm 12 dpo it would have picked up something?

@littlek: Oh, I saw those Orbit strollers on Gilt the other day. They look crazy!!

@Crystal: I tested at 7 and 8 DPO and got BFN. I'm holding off until the end of the week. My period is clockwork so AF should be making her glorious appearance Wednesday.

@theotherstark: Crazy awesome! My mom was going to get it for me and I talked her out of it. Biggest.Mistake.Ever

@Mrs.Panda: Yup! I even have an amazon wishlist started. Private, of course.
And we both love the bugaboo donkey, because we want more than one close in age, but they are $$$$$.
@theotherstark: I used wandfos.
@littlek: I'll have to check that one out!

@dc yoga bee: I used to nanny for a couple who had a Bugaboo. I thought it looked so nice (I was in college) then looked up the price tag! It was especially crazy because the baby peed in it lmao. I was like YOU JUST PEED ON A GRAND. I love those names! Coincidentally the baby who peed in the stroller was an Ava haha. We like Quinn and Cameron for girls and SO FAR don't hate Graham and Grey for a boy. But DH changes daily on the boy names.
@littlek: Do you like the city select? I was out at a restaurant with my friend and I saw a couple with the orbit stroller I had never seen anything like it so I was rubber necking hard! lol It looks so awesome!
@septca: I am going between that one and the Book Plus. They both look great! Isn't the B Ready convertible to hold two bbs?
@theotherstark: I am definitely obsessive!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Crystal: Um, I definitely have a private wish-list started too.... Ha.

@Mrs.Panda: Peed on a grand LOL. I feel that way about cloth diapers. Awfully expensive for some **** but I digress I always told dh no kids, and right before we started trying I got him to agree to stroller of my choice since we rarely use our car. We walk everywhere and use metro, so I wanted a nice stroller. And a babywearing carrier thing lol.
@Crystal: It's still early! ! Ive got my fx for you!

@Crystal: There is a deal om Amazon Warehouse right now for an open box returned Bugaboo Donkey for $955! haha
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: Agreed! And working in my profession I am so ingrained in the use it once and throw it out mentality, so I can't see myself doing that for doo doo.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs.Panda: Oh, don't get me wrong, I totally want to cloth diaper do my part for the environment in some cute cloth diapers. But, dh is 1000% against it! Says we should all take a poo in the washer machine ourselves if we are going to regulary throw poopy diapers in there
nectarine / 2358 posts
@dc yoga bee: LMAO. I want to cloth diaper, I really do, but I can't see myself doing it either. I will be using biodegradable diapers like from Seventh Generation or something. I am so weak lol

February ladies - I am so in need of your advice! When I was pregnant with Lucy and took a pregnancy test it was a very obvious and dark line. I just took this… What do you think? Ahh!!! Not sure if I'm just willing myself to see something or if I should actually get excited.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I was looking at the honest company I think it was. Biodegradable and cute deisgn. And no poo in the washer machine. I did ask dh what hes going to do when kid poops his clothes?!?!

@Mrs. Deer: Do you mean that second line?? If so, it's clearly visible to me, and CONGRATS !!!
nectarine / 2079 posts
@Mrs.Panda: We have almost all our gear already, so I have so few baby related things to focus on this time. I am trying to take my focus away from thinking about it this time, but it is not going so well. I was obsessing over names before, but I got burnt out.
@theotherstark: last time I tested with FRER, this time I'm going with cheapies and have a box of digitals to confirm. I'm hoping you just implanted late. FX

@Mrs. Deer: I've never taken a blue dye, but that looks very positive to me.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Mrs. Deer: Um that looks super clear to me, congrats!!!! Maybe retest with a digital?
blogger / persimmon / 1231 posts
@dc yoga bee: yeah, it's weird because it's darker on the outer edges of the line but faint and kind of not visible in the middle. I'm wondering if I should just take another test. But they're so expensive! I hate to waste another one. Maybe I'll just wait it out and see and take one tomorrow.
blogger / persimmon / 1231 posts
@Mrs.Panda: Ah I should've gotten the digital! My husband and Lucy are on their way back from Costco right now, otherwise I would sneak out and get one.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Mrs. Deer: Dang it they should have picked some up at Costco!! lol
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs. Deer: How many DPO are you? It could be just in the early stages. I definitely see a line, so congratulations!!!
@Mrs.Panda: Honestly, if I was just thismuch crazier I might go ahead and buy it, lol.
pomelo / 5607 posts
@dc yoga bee: Exactly! Poo is going in that washing machine at some point no matter what. Probably quite a bit of it at times. Plus I believe most parents rinse the diapers before washing.
@Mrs. Deer: That's exactly what my positives looked like with my first pregnancy, and it was definitely legit! You're pregnant, congrats!

@Crystal: i'm not even sure! I only just got my period back with on December 31 but I think it's a bit wonky (my period was really long).
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Crystal: I told DH that we should start buying baby stuff now and he gave me a firm, flat out 'no'. We go back and forth about this stuff though. For instance, if I come across a sale for something we don't necessarily need right now, but I know we will need in the future, I say buy it and save the difference! DH says no and that we should wait until we need it. It drives me CRAZY! I would love to buy a stroller right now just to have on hand or even some other basics like diapers. But noooo. I did buy a cute onesie set from our alma mater to tell him I'm preggo one day. I feel so naughty having contraband!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs.Panda: I literally just lol at contrband. Yeah, dh would flip if I bought a stroller/crib/etc and no bfp. That being said, I did buy a cute stuffed owl I have no idea how I would want to tell him. He said never do it in oublic at a restaurant. If I get a bfp on vday I totally plan to tell him at the restaurant!!
Eta I worked in a restaurant in high school, and one time they brought out a cake with congrats dad and a rattle, and the man was not amused. At all! We are trying so maybe DH wouldn't be pissed!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Mrs.Panda: lol @ contraband. I am afraid of jinxing it, but its hard when I am obsessively reading product reviews and come across a great sale! I just keep reminding myself that there will be more great things when its actually time for me to buy it.
@Mrs. Deer: Wow, lucky girl! Awesome!

Thanks ladies! I had a three pack of tests, I just took a second one and it was a faulty test and came up blank. So I took a third and it's an even fainter than the first test. So I think I shouldn't get too excited yet, maybe these cheap Rite Aid brand ones aren't the best. Hmmmmm here's the third one:

@Mrs. Deer: AHHHH! Holy shite we are well on our way to a bfp everyday in in Feb!!! You are so preggers. Congratulations!! Have a happy and healthy 9 months doll.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Mrs. Deer: Are the lines coming up within the testing window? I see it in the second photo too. Also, how long of a hold did you do with the third test?
blogger / persimmon / 1231 posts
@dc yoga bee: yup, within 2 minutes. I peed in a cup and held the test in it for maybe 5 seconds??
honeydew / 7295 posts
@Mrs. Deer: get a pink dye test FRER or digital if you want reassurance. How many DPO are you?
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Mrs. Deer: I think the fact that you got two BFPs in one pack if quite good. I'm assuming the third test wasn't with FMU, so it would be a little lighter. But that's still good you could see something at all! Go get a FRER and test in the morning to be sure, but I think we have a BFP on our hands!
