Its just so hard during O Week- I think its the pressure to perform, even when I am not really in the mood.

@Crystal: Agreed. I got lucky this month, and think I o'ed on superbowl sunday. So, it was more bding towards end of week, and weekend this month. A Wednesday session soubds maddening!!!

  3. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@dc yoga bee: Plus all the drinking at superbowl should help too! lol

(At least that was my experience!)

Weekdays are so hard! Work + gym + cooking make little to no "extra" time.

  4. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@Crystal: LOL, I don't drink, and DH is worried about his swimmers,so he has really cut back. I think he had 2 beers, instead of normal 4 or 5.

  5. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@Crystal: I guess there is not as much pressure if I either O'd already or don't know when I will lol.

We usually go for it before we sleep or right when we wake up so it doesn't matter as much for us weekday vs weekend. More when we wake up though, because I tend to pass out as soon as my head hits the pillow...

@dc yoga bee: Actually. I think I am going to give it to "us" for Valentine's Day.

    Is it this one? http://www.amazon.com/The-Position-Sex-Bible-Positions/dp/1592333494/ref=tmm_pap_title_0?ie=UTF8&qid=1391802165&sr=8-1

@dc yoga bee: Just ordered it.

  9. snowjewelz

    @HolisticMama: You are fast lol

I finally remember someone gifted me risque lingerie before my wedding; but I felt silly wearing those but I think I will dig them out soon!

  10. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@snowjewelz: Ours is before bed, usually. I think I need to do that first, then dinner, not wait and do it after all my chores are done.

@HolisticMama: @dc yoga bee: I think I am going to order it too!

  11. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@Crystal: Yeah, we tried to combat the "too tired" excuse and do it early evening, but the timing is so awkward! When we both get home from work we need to make food, eat & clean up. But then I'm usually still full/digesting that I don't want jump into BD right away. But then time passes and we don't think about it till it's almost time for bed. We try to end our night a little earlier, go upstairs and leave that time for BD before actually sleeping.

So, I've been super excited because I just started temping. I had been loosely 'charting' for a few months, mainly just CM etc., and decided I wanted to start temping since I'm curious and want to confirm ovulation. Yesterday was my first day.

And then this morning, my dog vommed right before I was going to get up. So, I had to go clean that up before I could temp. I was weirdly bummed that my temp is all wonky and had to be discarded today! I just want a nice, accurate chart Ha. Silly little thing, but figured you guys would understand.

(And yes, I know that since I'm so early in my cycle it REALLY doesn't matter, but it's just the principle of it! )

  13. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@theotherstark: Oh no! Is your dog okay? One of mine threw up in the bed the other night. I thanked her for at least doing it on DH's side

  14. snowjewelz

    @dc yoga bee: @theotherstark:

My dog loves throwing up bile once in a while. I hear her stomach gurgling and she throws up in like 3 diff spots!

  15. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@snowjewelz: Yes!!!! That crazy noise, and here's a pile mom! Wait, I'm going to take a few steps....here's another one! Now, my boy is SO funny. He is so incredibly lazy when he throws up. He lays in his bed, and when he throws up he just opens up and lets it come out onto the side of his bed! I mean, at least stand up and throw up. Okay, that was way too much detail. But, my yorkies throwing up are sort of kind of cute, just not what comes out

  16. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@dc yoga bee: hahahah he is just like, meh, mom will clean it up. When my dog was younger she ate some of her throw up too

  17. dc yoga bee

    grapefruit / 4770 posts

@snowjewelz: And because I have now dogged my dogs, they asked me to make up for it with a cute picture.

@dc yoga bee: omg your pup is adorable!! And yes, mine is fine just something sitting weirdly in his stomach or something.

Btw I'm in the DC area too!

@dc yoga bee: look at that FACE!!! I am a mommy to two pups, so I'm pretty in love with all fur babies:-).

  24. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@theotherstark: I (begrudgingly) started temping last month, and I'm pretty hooked already. I initially bought a thermometer that was silent, but didn't seem super accurate. I've since bought a BBT that was right next to the HPTs at CVS and it seems more legit:-). Happy charting!

  25. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@ChiCalGoBee: does it beep a lot? Is it enough to disturb a sleeping husband?

  26. theotherstark

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@ChiCalGoBee: ha, awesome. Yeah, mine beeps. I don't think it really disturbs my husband (although the first time I used it he was like wtf are you doing???), but it freaks my dog out. He jumps up and sits on my chest and worriedly sniffs at it until its done beeping. And now I think he is throwing off my temps. Hahaha. Oh well.

  27. theotherstark

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@MrsHansen82: I'm on cycle 2 too! I'm due for AF on the 1st too, but since I know I'll be testing early, I put my date down as the 28 Always nice having a TWW buddy!!

  28. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

    @MrsHansen82: @theotherstark:

I'm in cycle 2 also, first one actively charting tho. Good luck to both on catching O and making it happen! I don't know if I O'd or not; my POAS was 2/17 based on FF but it's more like if AF doesn't come now

  29. dc yoga bee

    What is everyone's Saturday plans??

Me: I'm going to an early morning yoga class at a new studio I have fallen head over heels madly in love with. Then, I'm going to walk to a nearby coffee shop I've been wanting to try for literally 1 year!

  30. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@Crystal: it's a CVS brand one-nothing special! it beeps once (pretty quietly) when you turn it on, and then beeps again when it's done. When I hear the first "I'm done" beep I turn it off. It saves the temp so I record it later once I've gotten up. Hasn't bothered my husband so far...the Kaz thermometer I got on amazon was silent, but I'm not sure I trust it (it seemed pretty cheap).

@theotherstark @mrshansen82: Cycle 2 here, too, although I'm way at the beginning and had a weird AF (was @ the doc yesterday actually) so I'm unsure what this cycle holds. I'm using the Clearblue fertility monitor for the first time though, so..... FX!

  31. Marfi

    clementine / 794 posts

So I tested on the 6th BFN. I didn't get a chance to test yesterday crazy day with work. I still have no symptoms of AF today so I will probably test tonight when I get home from work or tomorrow morning. I keep putting it off not wanting to be disappointed by another BFN!

  32. theotherstark

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@snowjewelz: @ChiCalGoBee: So many of us who started last month! Ha. I caught O last month using OPKs, and I am fairly regular (knock on wood!), so my temping this month is more for confirming O and curiosity I'm excited about it.

@dc yoga bee: Nothing much for me. Dog park and took our car to get checked out this morning. Now, just watching the Olympics

@Marfi: Eeep, keeping my fingers crossed for you!

    Ok bees, question

I am currently on cd 11. Been opk testing for 4 cycles now. Last 3 I got positives on cd 11 and 12. Here is cd 8-11, with a clear blue today as well which was a circle not a smile. Was yesterday positive?? Or have I not o'd yet?? Today is lighter then cd 9 and 10. 9 and 10 are almost the same darkness as control line.
I am currently on antibiotics and a steroid inhaler for chest infection and bronchitis. Can that delay me?!? Do I keep testing and keep bd?!?

  37. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@MrsScottish: From your picture I don't think you did, since the test line needs to be as dark or darker than the control line. I am not sure if your meds are affecting ovulation, or maybe it's because you're sick. If you can afford to, I would keep testing and maybe go easy on BD till you get a positive, since you're sick? Feel better!

@theotherstark: I am so anxious to see if I am regular yet; but then again, I rather have a BFP I had mild cramps yesterday & a lot of those pinching sensations that bees talk about. Now I'm wondering if this is me O'ing, or maybe getting KU?

  38. MrsScottish

    clementine / 838 posts

    @snowjewelz: thanks for the response.
I will for sure keep testing. I just dont understand why today is lighter....Trying to figure out my cycles! Hoping that I have not messed this one up on the meds!

Does anyone here know if exercising (after ovulation) can delay a period?
