@ChiCalGoBee: I am a "musical nerd" too! So happy to have another one here

@sarahnicole218: Oh yay! I love all musicals. Admittedly, this is a pretty obscure one, but...lots of fun songs!

I have a CM question for all of you: Today is O. At O-2 and O-3 I had EWCM and at O-1 just watery. Starting yesterday and today I have CM that I am not sure how to categorize. It's opaque, looks like EW, but doesn't stretch. It's tacky and creamy almost. Is this "sticky" CM? Or is it just my BFing hormones screwing with me?
Regardless, today is O but I have zero hope for this cycle. Our timing would make MrsMcCarthy cringe... EOD was awesome until O-3, but that's the last day we hit. We may try tonight, but I feel like it will be too late because I felt O pains early this morning. And of course they were on my good side, even though this cycle was supposed to be my bad side. Ugh. I am so over this, and we've barely even started.
Sorry to be such a downer, I just get really down on myself when we can't get timing right. It makes me feel like such a TTC failure, especially since I know we don't have time to be wasting.

@septca: First, you hit O-3! That is good. Second, if you can hit tonight too, that would be great. I think the egg is viable 24-36 hrs after ovulation? So if you think you can knock another day out, go for it Don't feel like a failure. I am super impressed that you went so long with EOD BDing!

@septca: Don't be so hard on yourself! If you can, do it, if not, don't worry about it! You may be okay w/ the last one! We can't even EOD; we consider every 3-4 days pretty good haha. Maybe when I know when I actually O I will be more motivated (or more stressed out!)

@snowjewelz: @theotherstark: @littlek: Thank you ladies for the pep talk! I know you're right and I know there's no use crying over spilt milk, it's just that TTC is really taking its toll on me this month for some reason. When we were TTC #1 we had a pretty active BD life. Guess that's what a baby will do to your libido! I alao know that our schedules are to blame, but I have to be okay with that - my husband is a night owl and has a hard time getting up in the morning, whereas I fall asleep in front of the tv every night but am wide awake before the alarm goes off in the morning... it just makes it very hard to find good weekday opportunities for BD.

@septca: We are 1st time TTCers, and our libidos are not in the high range to begin with. I'm also on the dry side so I take a while to be ready, lol. I just started to use preseed to hopefully make it easier to BD more. That's why I'm hoping to pinpoint my O so at least we know when we need to try to BD EOD and when we can relax a little! All aspects of this journey can be SO frustrating but don't give up hope! Maybe there are some swimmers up there waiting

@septca: I have no advice about the CM, but I hear you on the timing! I'm still gearing up to the O and I'm already not looking forward to BDing!! And they SAY that sperm can last up to 5 days, so O-3 could have you covered! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for you!!

@Adira: Ha ha, thanks! I am going to do some really creative math... our O-3 time was really late at night, like 11:00 pm and I felt my O pains really early this morning... so that's kind of like O-2, right?

@septca: The good news is you DTD when you had EWCM so that should go further. I'm not sure about the CM, I've always assumed that my ovulation occurred on the last day of the EWCM and then I had a longer LP, but now I'm reading that it can occur days after EWCM. I'm also still breastfeeding, albeit not often, and I'm assuming that is the cause for my longer cycles. I had a ton of weird CM during my Dec-Jan cycle. Luckily, we weren't trying that cycle.

@septca: I would call that CM sticky/creamy. If you want to compromise, I would say creamy is a good bet. And BD tonight to get a better chance, but that really isn't that bad at all!
I opened DH's laptop today and found he was on Youtube and had searched "how twins are made" and was watching a video called "Twins in the womb". I must have ignited his curiosity with that Great Sperm Race documentary!

@Mrs.Panda: Oh. My. Gosh.
That is ADORABLE!!!
I think DH was more disappointed that AF arrived than I was.

I feel like I'm being run ragged at work. Maybe it's just that it's Cycle Day 1, so I'm feel worn out? I hope I can catch up with you ladies soon. You are one of the highlights of my day!!

@Mrs.Panda: awwww!!! DH told me yesterday he was budgeting for 2 extra kids in daycare. I was like, what? And he's like it can happen, we have to be prepared!

@HolisticMama: Sorry you're feeling run down, the first day of my period I AM THE RAGE. lol
@littlek: Your DH is so prepared! That is so sweet, I love it!
Today is just an exciting day all around! I got my blood work back and my Progesterone was a 3.8, which is within normal limits for having ovulated, I'm guessing. It's on the low side, but I had only O'd like a day or two beforehand. So yay!
Also! My sister-in-law is in labor! Like, right now! We are packing up to go see them across the state! Yay for a baby niece!

@septca: I love creative math! I think that counts!
Don't beat yourself up over it, you still have a chance at O-3!
@Mrs.Panda: GL to your SIL! Woohoo for baby nieces!
@HolisticMama: I'm so sorry AF made a very unwelcome appearance.
@Lady Hibiscus: I'm a rollover, AF showed her ugly face.
On to being a November momma!

@holisticmama: I am so sorry. I was in the same boat. I started 2 days late with bfn's and then when I started I felt horrible! Not to mention thought I was going to bleed to death! It was awful.
@mrs.panda: yay for ovulation and yay for baby nieces!!
I didn't think I was going to be able to poas this month, but with AF due on March 1st, I think I can test on the 28th. I am on Clomid 50mg again this month, also on Mucinex and trying preseed this month I hope it makes for better numbers on my post-coital exam! That will be the true test of how preseed works!!!

@Crystal: Boo! I was really hoping this would be your month. Hope this next cycle is it!

Weird stuff going on. My AF ended on the 29th and by Monday the 3rd I was having watery then EWCM. I wasn't sure what was going on since my predicted fertile days aren't until next week . But once I saw watery we started BD. Then last night, I have the worst cramps ever. Today lotiony and now nothing at all. Is it possible that I Oed already? I didn't take any tests this month. I guess I could take one tomorrow although if I Oed last night the test might come back neg. Hoping this is something else and that I haven't Oed yet.

@Crystal: Noooooooo . I'll be rooting for your baby "turkey" in November. I am convinced I'll miss my window with 3 nights I'm away from DH during fertile time this month, so likely won't even bother gearing myself up for POAS. I am happy to cheer for you!

@theotherstark: @Radish: @ChiCalGoBee: thanks, friends. It really warms my heart to have you all here to go through this with! AF sucks.

@septca: You can get pregnant if you dtd 3 days before O. I did with my last pregnancy!
