If I got a positive OPK yesterday AM, another positive OPK yesterday PM, and a negative OPK this AM, that probably means I ovulated early this morning, right? (We're going to be pretty tired tonight so... trying to plan appropriately!) My CM dried up yesterday after several days of major EW.

Hi Ladies!
How is everyone doing today?
@Mrs.Panda: Bow-wow-wow-chica-wow. That's my sexytime song. Can you tell?
@Tidybee: Sending you very very sticky thoughts. I'm sorry you are having to go through this.
It's SUPER cold here in Colorado. Negative something or rather. Almost every school is closed. But I'm here working. My office is warm and I have a battery operated candle.
No spotting or anything yet, but I have a feeling AF is on her way, as when I consult my cervix she is giving some signs.

Question: Are the refills of the fertility monitor really like $50 bucks? Goodness. That would add up fast!
Buying the monitor plus three months worth of sticks- it would equal out to buying the OvaCue, which doesn't require any sticks. And likely could eliminate the need to temp: http://www.ovacue.com/
Thoughts?

@HolisticMama: At least AF is arriving and you have a fresh cycle!
persimmon / 1167 posts
@snowjewelz: Yes. I agree. Fresh cycles are always exciting and you always have the opportunity of trying something new!

@HolisticMama: The box comes with 30 sticks. I used 10 sticks this month, so it will last me 3 months which is cheaper than $30 plus a month for the digital opk I was buying. If you have longer than average cycles it will ask for more sticks, and could get costly fast.

@dc yoga bee: That would be awesome to use only 10 sticks! I used like 30 this cycle, mostly because I'm insane.
ETA: 30 regular OPKs, that is.

Cycle day 8... SO BORED!!!!!! I wish I was able to test twice in a month like some of you ladies--- my 35 day cycle is way too time consuming!!!
@ChiCalGoBee- sorry you got AF. Next month will be better!
Hellocupcake & Crystal- i moved you ladies until tomorrow Good luck!!!!
XOXOX- stay warm out there--- it is freezing today!!!!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Tidybee: Good luck! I am sure things will turn out perfectly, and I am sending lots of sticky thoughts your way!
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: Thanks for the support-you're really sweet! I hope next month is better, but I know I need to chill out more:-).
p.s. I'm not quite a rollover for next month bc I don't know if timing will allow me to really be "up" for POAS on March...so I'm happy to just be a cheerleader for now. Thanks!!

@Mrs.Panda: wow! I used 19 digital sticks one month, and I was pissed!!! I think being with my in-laws delayed O that month.

Well I feel like I have done a good job of not overly obsessing these past two days. I hate the black hole of the internet like I think it will give me the answer to if we had success this month or not. I'm not 100% sure I'm testing Sunday anymore since I think I might have ovulated sometime between Sunday and Monday and I really want to wait until 8 dpo.
I'm sorry @ChiCalGoBee: and @theotherstark: that this wasn't your month. Hope next cycle is it!
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: You are doing better than me, I have been obsessing and trying so hard not to get my hopes up... I am such a symptom spotter and have been googling everything!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Radish: how many dpo are you again? And lol at internet black hole!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Radish: thanks, lady!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for your bfp this cycle
nectarine / 2079 posts
@dc yoga bee: At most 4dpo, I think.
@cyndistar3: Oh trust me, I get like that too. I have just been making myself busy - plus today I had a bad headache almost all day and just keeping up with LO and trying to rest made little time or energy for obsessing.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@theotherstark: Thanks, I really want it to be this cycle (I really love the idea of an October baby), but since last time I got KU on the first official cycle of trying, I feel like I won't be lucky enough to have it happen again. Which is silly, but still.
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Radish: ah, cool! I'm 3dpo. I've been so busy trying to get home out of winter storm Nika, I'm finally back to thinking about the tww. Time to get on Dr. Google. I kid I kid! I don't feel a single thing though. I also didn't have o cramps this month. Interesting!
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: sorry to hear about your headache, that can be the worst when you have a lo to keep up with! I am also having a hard time telling when I o'd because normally my cm cooperates with my twinges but it seemed off this month.
nectarine / 2079 posts
@dc yoga bee: I've never had O craps, I'm basing it entirely on CM which is hard when you are DTD regularly. Luckily it worked for me with DD, so I'm not rushing to do OPKs or temp yet. It was really hard not to "symptom spot" today, especially because I did feel off my norm with my headache. Come on next week.
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: after by 3 days I think.
Eta: I had pinkish tinged cm on cd14 then 3 days later I felt the pains or twinges.
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Radish: You're sweet-thank you so much! Fingers crossed for you as you wait to test.
I've been meaning to tell you...I love your username. This is going to sound totally random, but have you ever seen the musical "The Fantastiks?" There's a song in it called "Plant a Radish." It could apply to TTC I suppose....the basic message is with kids you "never know what you're going to get," so being a gardner is easier because when you "plant a radish" you "get" a radish!
*Feel free to roll your eyes at me-MUSICAL NERD. I roll my eyes at myself all the time *
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Crystal: Thanks, sweet friend!! FX for you as these next few days come....c'mon BFP!!!
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Radish: How does the cm change if you don't mind me asking? Look at me, getting ready to google already lol
nectarine / 2028 posts
@HolisticMama: How did I miss that you live in CO? I used to live in Denver, and DH and I attended and met at a small Lib. Arts school in Colorado Springs. Whereabouts are you located? Feel free to ignore me (or PM me!) if that's too personal:-).
nectarine / 2079 posts
@ChiCalGoBee: lol, thanks. I have not seen that musical, but I do love musicals. I got the idea for it from an image that had a radish drawn as radish, rad (sunglasses), and totally rad (sunglasses + skateboard).
@cyndistar3: Ugh, that would drive me crazy as well. Although... early implantation... ???
@dc yoga bee: I don't know if I just produce a lot, but my eggwhite cervical mucus is super obvious when I go to the bathroom and wipe. I also get obvious sticky/dried out CM a few days later. I tried checking cervical position this cycle, but I'm not familiar enough with it to identify position and openness.

@Tidybee: sending you so many sticky thoughts, lady. I hope that it's nothing, and that you have a strong, sticky little bean in there.

Thanks to YouTube for providing this scene of people I've never met performing this song. @dcyogabee and @radish: glad to provide a laugh when needed!

@ChiCalGoBee: LOL "you dont know, what you've grown until the seed is nearly sown!!" Thanks for posting!

@ChiCalGoBee: Niiice. "For once you've planted children you're absolutely stuck." Legit lol.
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: then it doesn't help that today I've had crampy kind of pains, increasing (perhaps tmi) creamy cm and itchy nips lol...
And oh my goodness to that video! Hahaha
nectarine / 2079 posts
@cyndistar3: Oh boy. I hope that means I will see two lines from you in the next week or so
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: that's what I'm hoping and its so hard not to get my hopes up because it seems promising. But at the same time my cycles like to play games with me and I don't want to get all crushed again if I get another stark white test.

@Lady Hibiscus: I'm no longer a February 14 gal...I'm TBD. No confirmed O, so I'm still waiting. Thank you!
