@snowjewelz: I use small paper Dixie cups and just toss them each time (I think they are $3-4 for 200 cups).

I guess I'll come out of hiding! We've been NTNP for the past 2 months but since DD took 1 year + clomid to conceive, I thought we were going down that road again. On Tuesday when AF was due, I had some normal spotting which usually signals AF is here. It continued as brown discharge and then on Friday and Saturday it just plain disappeared. On Sunday afternoon, no sign of AF but NO pregnancy symptoms either. After consulting with @septca I took a test and the pregnancy line came up well before the test line...so much so that I had a few seconds to think it was maybe an expired test.
We are excited and still in shock and 25% worried about 2 under 2. I'll be an October mama again!

    Here it is:

Eta: yes we're in the car because we were visiting family when I tested and we had to go freak out somewhere! So we went to lunch

@Tidybee: wow congrats!!! so good to hear #2 took no time! It's funny that so many BFPs come when you are not expecting it at all!

@septca: @LINDSAYINNY: DH is going to have to deal w/ having to take out the bathroom trash a lot more lol. Do you guys tests once or twice a day?

@Tidybee: Wow, look at that line! Congrats!!

And with that, we're still on-track for a BFP a day in Feb Horray!

    @Tidybee: Oh my gosh! Congrats!

This board is so hard to keep up with! Every time I check in there are 3 new pages! Keep the BFP's coming though!

@snowjewelz: I always do OPKs once a day, at night after work. That usually ends up being around 8pm or so. I've never had a problem with the timing. The last couple of cycles I've had two days of +OPKs so, when that falls over a weekend, I've done am and pm tests.

@Radish: I think we'll get a lot of BFPs for Feb & March, just because I'm a Nov baby and I personally know sooo many people with Oct/Nov birthdays! V-day conception! hehe

@snowjewelz: It's not really that big of a deal, but I only test with FMU, so one Wondfo packet + one small paper cup isn't much trash. My bigger problem is that I used to let DD play with/chew on a Dixie cup (a clean one!) in the mornings while I was getting ready and now she tries to dig them out of the trash can... I know pee is sterile, but GROSS. We really need a covered garbage can in our bathroom.

I use a glass dixie cup that I just wash out after each test. Works really well.

@Crystal: The nurse said I should get my test results back this afternoon, but with the snow...I'm not sure. We'll see. Doesn't really change much today. I either get to wait more or have a cup of my moon time tea: http://www.yogiproducts.com/products/details/womans-moon-cycle/

I think I'm out for February though, regardless. I will only get to pee on OPKs.

Just got a voicemail with my results:
(I have ZERO idea what these numbers mean)

    Estrogen: 47
    Progesterone: 1.32
She said that it’s hard to know if the levels are on their way up- or down. She anticipates that levels are on the way down and that I will see my period in the next couple of days. I will have to call on Friday if AF hasn’t arrived by then.

@HolisticMama: A quick Google search shows this on MedLine Plus:

This following are normal ranges based upon certain phases of the menstrual cycle and pregnancy:

    Female (pre-ovulation): less than 1 ng/mL
    Female (mid-cycle): 5 to 20 ng/mL
    Male: less than 1 ng/mL
    Postmenopausal: less than 1 ng/mL
    Pregnancy 1st trimester: 11.2-90.0 ng/mL
    Pregnancy 2nd trimester: 25.6-89.4 ng/mL
    Pregnancy 3rd trimester: 48.4-42.5 ng/mL

I'm guessing they are on their way down as the nurse said as it is getting close to the pre-ovulation levels. Glad you have some answers!

ETA: I also found that you have normal estrogen levels. A website said that menses typically happens with an Estrogen reading of about 45, so I think you are on your way to AF. Hopefully this is okay news for you.

@Mrs.Panda: I concur. I'm excited for the next cycle. I will be tracking more and getting to know my body in greater detail. I'm also going to EXTRA nurture myself during AF time.

Estimated O Date: Well I O'd on 1/27 so if I don't get my BFP next week then I'll O again on 2/23 and will be joining the March thread.
    POAS/AF date: 2/10
    Cycle #: 6
Chart link: haven't uploaded it off my phone so no link
Trying new this cycle: nothing as of now
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? Probably just going out to dinner we don't usually do anything crazy.
And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? Godiva milk chocolate salted caramel bar, but honestly I'd rather have a hot brownie with vanilla ice cream....YUMMY!

I'm a little late to this party but browsed through a good portion of the board, congrats to all the ladies who've already gotten their BFPs this month!!!

Thanks for all of the congrats! But now I need major sticky thoughts. I started having bright red bleeding when I go to the bathroom so I went into the doctor this afternoon. Being only about 5w, the doc could only see a sac (no yolk sac yet) and said he was pretty unsure about what was going on. He took a beta and I'll go back again on Thursday for a second beta. So stressful!!!

    Congrats @ Tidybee!!

Do antibiotics affect ovulation?? I just started today round 3 of antibiotics for a never ending case of bronchitis and chest infection since November. I am on cd 6, usually ovulate cd 12. They are the powerful ones, take 2 today, then one for the next 4 days and they stay in your system for 10 days?!?
