@dc yoga bee: I think it's different for different women so it could be. Keep us updated!

@Radish: The fact that I've never had AF start at night, I never ever spot before AF, and it's not even a real flow is odd. But, stranger things have happened. I've already made my peace that I'm out this month!

@dc yoga bee: it's not too late for implantation... How long is your LP typically?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Radish: I don't temp so I don't know for sure. But, when I looked at FF it seems to be on the shorter side at 10/11 DPO. So, if today is 10/11 DPO, it would be right on time for AF, and too late for implantation bleeding right?
grapefruit / 4770 posts
@Radish: I guess I'll know for sure tomorrow if AF arrives in full force! Will you be testing in the AM?!!
honeydew / 7295 posts
@dc yoga bee: I would say until you see a full bleed it could be anything. IB only happens to 20% of women I think but t did happen to me at around 11 DPO. It was only a small amount of pink and was gone the next day but I've read about women getting brown or even having full bleeds during pregnancy. FX for you!
honeydew / 7444 posts
@dc yoga bee: I agree it's a toss-up. They say implantation bleeding happens around 9-10dpo, and it's more of the "old" blood, not new. I say you'll have to wait a couple of days to see if it's AF. Crossing my fingers for you.

@Freckles: don't do it! When's your official poas date?
@Mrs.Panda: I have that same batch of Wandfos, and no false positives for me. Only stark white.
honeydew / 7444 posts
@Mrs.Panda: @Crystal: I have no clue as i didn't chart or use OPKs this time around, but my expected period date is Feb 20/21. CD1 was Jan 24, and my fertile period was last week. My inability to wait is making me want to get out a test!
grapefruit / 4028 posts
@Freckles: I'd do Sunday or Monday at the earliest, but even that might be too early to tell.
nectarine / 2358 posts
@Freckles: I know it's so hard but try to wait until next week to save yourself the possible heartache of a false BFN. Be strong girly!

@dc yoga bee: I'm sorry! I have to be honest - IB is one of those urban myths for me. It does happen (actually happened to someone I know really recently), but it's too rare to get your hopes up about. Occam's Razor is a great rule to apply to TTC.
I am listed on today's test list, but I talked myself out of testing this morning. I O'ed later than expected, so today is only 8 DPO. I am trying to hold out until Sunday. Plus, I feel 100% normal and we had terrible timing this month, so my hopes are not high.

@lindsayinny so I'm pretty reluctant to share my chart, but here is the link - http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/4c988d - I think the huge temp spike on CD9 is from drinking/excessive dancing (although really, what is excessive?) at a wedding the night before and because I took my temp later than usual.
The one thing I'm really curious about is whether my body temp is super low compared to other people, since this is my first month charting. It seems like a lot of charts, the BBT is in the 97s even when it's low. Do others regularly see 96s?
bananas / 9229 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: I've had temp spikes like that after drinking a bit. Like went to bed heavily buzzed drinking. I would discard that one if I were you. See if FF changes things then? Your pre-O temps are lower but that might be normal for you. Mine are in the 97s consistently too.

@Ms.Mermaid: first of all, welcome! My husband was also very reluctant to talk about TTC and he thinks HB is super lame, but he also recognizes that this space has given me an incredible support network over the last few years and that I have several friends from here that I see IRL, exchange holiday cards with, etc. it wasn't until we were deep into infertility territory that my husband started talking about our journey with other people. Now he's like a one man campaign for open communication and ending the stigma surrounding infertility!
Regarding your chart, your temps will really vary depending on how you temp (internally v orally and whether you sleep with you mouth open if you temp orally). I have seen many, many charts with temps in the low 96s as the norm, so I would not worry. I would discard that CD9 temp, though. Do you use OPKs? I have always found them really helpful since temping can only tell you you O'ed after the fact. If you have good BD timing on the regular anyway, that's no big deal, but I have always liked OPKs.

@dc yoga bee: So sorry to hear AF showed up!! Wishing you better luck this new cycle!
@septca: Good for you holding out on testing! Today would definitely just be a disappointment at 8 DPO. I really hope you're going to see a BFP soon!!!
@Ms.Mermaid: My temps post-baby so far have been in the 97s, but I used to regularly get high 96s for my temps!
@MrsMccarthy: So... I'm totally a creeper in that I thought of you right before Hubs and I went to BD town last night...
Girls, I think Hubs and I might be moving from NTNP to TTC-land soon!!! Which probably won't make any difference to ME since I've been charting and have crazy baby-fever, but it'll mean that Hubs will be more into the timing of when we BD and we'll probably have more productive baby-making sex!!! But last night, I said that I still wanted a second baby and he actually said "Then we probably should get on that because I want them close in age." Eeeeee!! I know we've been having unprotected sex and I've been thinking of baby #2 non-stop, but to have Hubs actually say that we should really start trying just makes me sooooooo excited!! Plus I suspect we'll have better luck if we're BOTH trying for baby #2 instead of just me, haha.

@cyndistar3: Yes. I feel like either my body or the stupid tests are playing tricks on me. Hopefully it is just too soon still.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Adira: Haha I thought you were TTC already anyway! I was kinda like that too, I came off BCP in Jan and though we'd NTNP till around March. But I got sooo into it, it turned into full blown TTC right away
ANY v-day BFPs?!?!

@Radish: I hope its just too early too! I hate the games my body plays with me all the time
kiwi / 745 posts
So I discarded the CD9 temp and it didn't change anything. I've been feeling pretty consistent low-grade nausea for the last 3 days along with some cramping. The less I think about the nausea the less I feel it, so I'm thinking it's pschyosomatic.
@septca I haven't used OPKs yet because we basically decided we'd see if we needed them. I thought my mid-cycle pain would line up with my O-date based on temperature, but that definitely wasn't the case this cycle, so I think next cycle or the one after, I'll start using OPKs.
My husband is just a super-private person. I think he just thinks cycle 1 is a little early to be obsessing on the internet.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@Ms.Mermaid: I'm going to use OPKs next cycle too b/c all the other factors are too confusing for me! I need to know for sure.
And don't worry, I'm sure your husband will come around, even if just a little! DH still thinks I'm crazy and way too obsessed but he usually is willing to entertain me lol

@dc yoga bee: aw I'm so sorry doll. I hope you have a fun sunny march and then I hope April showers being you a beautiful baby!!!
@Ms.Mermaid: low temps can sometimes indicate an issue but most often they are fine. If you are open to it temping internally might help. Have you read Taking Charge of Your Fertility yet?
@Adira: so glad you got your BD in AND that your husband is getting on board. It was so nice when my husband was proactive last night.
@Radish: I hope it's too soon! Don't feel bad though because I was so convinced I was pregnant last month. It can really feel like you are. I hope you truly are though!
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@Adira: Awww - it's always so nice when your husband gets excited about it!
@Ms.Mermaid: My temps are generally in the high 97s, and I've always been worried they're too high, since I feel like most charts I've seen are in the 96s and low 97s. Ha! Always something to worry about, huh. I think it just depends on the individual, sleeping habits, etc. It's probably not something you need to worry about now; maybe if you haven't gotten pregnant in a few cycles it's something to look into, if your physician is concerned?
AFM, I'm still having fertile CF; no positive OPK yet. I'm on CD 11 now, and generally O around the 12-14. OPKs are getting a little darker. I'm so impatient!

@theotherstark: This morning with super diluted pee. So ya know how that turned out... So dumb of me lol. Hopefully tomorrow is better...

@LindsayInNY: I'm really hoping this is it for you!
I don't know what is going on with me. I think I'm out, though.

@Crystal: Yeah, we've been trying to get back on an EOD bd'ing schedule. My OPK's hadn't been any darker this week until finally this morning it looked a bit darker than it has been! I'm hoping I get a + within the next day or 2 so that I O a little earlier in my cycle. Fingers crossed
pomegranate / 3045 posts
@MrsMccarthy: Hopefully! You're in the TWW now, right?
@LindsayInNY: Oh geez. Why do we convince ourselves that is a good idea!? Ha. I did that last month a few times too. Sigh. I still have high hopes for you, though. Your chart looks really good!!
@Keppa: Keeping my fingers crossed for your positive OPK soon!

@dc yoga bee: I'm sorry I hate AF!! And that sinks about DH being away next month... I'm so mad for you! !!!
@Adira: So happy you and DH are moving to the same page! That is so relieving I'm sure.
@LindsayInNY: FX for you!
So talk about sensitive pregnancy tests! My betas came back at 18 and the Clearblue Digital with weeks estimator picked it up, I am very impressed. I go back the 16th for doubling times. Yay!

@Lady Hibiscus: I'm sorry I never updated you, I'm no longer TBD. I'm a rollover. I am on my second day of progesterone to induce AF and then my next cycle, I will be trying 100mg of Clomid. We shall see!
Happy V-day ladies!
