@Lady Hibiscus: I think I had a temp drop during my BFP cycle. Here is a photo. I hope this means you are soon to be preggie!!!

@PawPrints: it ain't over yet. Sorry that you are feeling discouraged though. I hope it ends in BFp.

I was feeling so negative about this cycle to start and now I am feeling hopeful which is actually more scary to me than not. FF has me at 1DPO today and Feb 26th I will be 12DPO (if I make it there before I get my period). I am so scared to have another short cycle. Almost more scared than the bfn because it adds so much stress to the equation so I am hoping that if I am not pregnant this month I at least can get more than 10 days in my LP. We shall see. My husbands birthday is Feb 24 and ill be 10DPO so I may test early then if I'm still waiting for AF. It would be pretty cool to have a BFP on my husbands bday. All this hope is kind of scaring me but I am trying to remember I am only on cycle 2. Can't wait for more BFPs. Who is testing today???

@mrsmcarthy- wow, your temp dip looks just like mine. Thanks so much for sharing with me. Hope it means something good!!! I hope you get your bfp for DH birthday- that would be awesome.

Gah!!! I am so so over BD right now! I'm stressed out as F*8* because hubs and I are supposed to BD tonight in order to cover our bases completely and he is being a whiney annoying drag ass about it!!! I TAKE IT ALL BACK! I'm not astounded people don't have more sex! I'm astounded they can stay motivated at all with TI!!! I seriously just want to get it over with!!!! And worse yet I feel like with every hour we get further and further from the egg!!! GrRRrr! I feel like Holisticmama did when she said she wished she could self pollinate sometimes!!!! This sucks!!!

UPDATE: I finally got the bum off the couch and we got her done. Feeling pretty okay about our timing this month so now it's up to Mother Nature, my body and a bit of luck.

@septca: you're probably right. In just the kind of insane person who would blame myself for not trying instead of seeing it as out of my hands so I wanted to try to cover all my bases. Last month we skipped O and O+1 and I had major regrets.

Just started spotting reddish brown discharge kind of like how the start of my period is. Cramping the last couple of days, today was slightly worse but nothing terrible. Really feeling deflated right now. I'm 12 dpo, AF slated to show Monday. I'm so mad at myself for testing early.

@Mrs.Panda: a lot of women spot during pregnancy. Are you still getting positive tests? I will be praying for your baby to stick!

@mrs.panda: I have a friend who is 22 weeks pregnant and she has spotted each month. Just relax and try not to worry so much. I know... easier said than done.

@MrsMccarthy: I got a positive earlier today but I didn't start spotting until like 10:30 tonight. I have more betas being drawn tomorrow and I think I'm going to ask for progesterone to be tested with possible progesterone replacement. It's just a PCP but I'm hoping they will do it.

@mrspanda- rooting for you. Tons of prayers for a sticky little bean-- and I'm sending you all my positive energy tonight. Let us know how the appt goes..

@mrsmccarthy- men! They are something else. I usually con my DH into having sex when it's that time of month. After 5 years I have finally figured out that if I make him think it's his plan, and I'm the willing participant everyone's happy. If he knew that it was a pre- determined plan he would run for the hills ...lol.

@Mrs.Panda: So i have a question about progesterone. My OB prescribed me prometrium for my first pregnancy, and gave me a new prescription after i told him we were ttc. After my chemical pregnancy 2 cycles ago, i'm wondering how soon i should start taking it...like, if i test early and i'm positive, should i take it right away? wwyd?

@Mrs.Panda: FX for you friend! I'm hoping it's just normal first trimester spotting, and good betas.

  19. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@Freckles: That my friend I'm not sure of. I'm not the progesterone expert by any means, I've just read that it can help. That being said I know that women who need it generally take it immediately. I haven't heard of any negative effects from being on it either, but I would ask your doctor or the on call nurse if there is one to be sure.

@MrsMccarthy: @fotolori1: @littlek: @Lady Hibiscus: @dc yoga bee: Thank you all for your positive thoughts last night and today. I'm still cramping, but no spotting so far today. Last night really scared me and I could barely sleep, which is not helpful I know. My temp is still up today, so that's good. Come on little poppy seed! I believe I'm 4 weeks tomorrow.

@Mrs.Panda: thinking of you little Panda! So long as it was just spotting and not a heavy bleed with severe cramps there is still a lot of hope. I will be waiting for your beta results and praying.

@Freckles: I started taking mine as soon as I was pretty sure I'd O'd. But definitely I'd start immediately if you get a bfp.

I might not test tomorrow like I said; FF is predicted I O'd late and that this cycle is longer. If I don't get AF this week. I might test on Friday. I'm 90% I'm out for Feb. Oh well...

what apps do you ladies use to track everything??!?! I currently use Period log, and have for the last almost 2 years. IT is simple, i can enter symptoms, BD, period flow, notes, etc. I cant add cm or OPK results.
I find FF complicated, looking for other suggestions, or tips for FF

    clementine / 838 posts

and DH peer pressured me to test this morning, I told him it would be negative, which it was, but he is convinced I am. I think he is just hopeful where I am not. I am only on CD 19. But he would not listen..... oh well, good thing I had cheepies.

@MrsScottish: I use FF app but I've heard good things about My Days. Your poor hubby is so excited! I'm sure it was still not fun to see BFN but its so so early. I hope his hunch is correct!

  32. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@MrsMccarthy: @Crystal: Thanks guys, I asked the MA to ask the doctor to throw on a Progesterone and she said it shouldn't be a problem. She said if they don't call me by Tuesday to give them a shout, but that the Progesterone test could take longer. Why can't everything be instant?? lol Cramping less than yesterday and feeling like I have spotting, but nothing when I wipe. Hopeful it was the little poppy seed burrowing deeper into my lining.

  33. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@MrsScottish: FF is kind of complicated but I love how comprehensive it is! I have heard My Days is good like @MrsMccarthy: said.

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@MrsScottish: I used iPeriod for a few years, and just started FF. iPeriod was good, although you can't add OPKs. I think with many of these programs, can make it as intricate or simple as you would like. I think FF has some good tutorials on their site, too?

  35. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

@Torchwood: @LovelyPlum: @Mrs. Jump Rope: @Mrs.Panda: For my first pregnancy i didn't start taking it until about 5 weeks, but good to know that it's okay to start earlier, just in case. Thanks ladies!

@Mrs.Panda: I think it's good news that you're still just spotting. I'm pretty sure by now you'd be in period mode, at least it would be for me. Fingers crossed!

  36. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: I did the same during my first pregnancy. After my miscarriage i cut coffee as soon as i got a bfp bc i made/drank my coffee strong and black and didn't know exactly how much caffeine was in it. While i don't think it's what caused my m/c, i didn't want to find any reason to blame myself if i m/c again.

Ugh- how does anyone sleep in the TWW. I've never been more acutely aware of how crazy my body acts from the time of vulation to my period. For the last two nights, I have been having such crazy traumatic nightmares. Two nights ago I had a dream that I was on a plane that fell into the ocean. So crazy- I felt like I was really swimming. I was a crying mess when I woke up. Last night I had a dream my mom fell in water -- and I had to save her. Except I was swimming in dark murky water with all these sea creatures. Again I woke up crying hysterically. This is so atypical for me. I felt like I was actually swimming in both dreams. Both times I woke up with extreme urgency to pee. Which could explain the water dreams I guess. Lol. Talk about a lazy Sunday!!!

  38. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: it's so hard!!! i really hate the TWW. everything feels so up and down and uncertain. I hope your nightmares are baby hormone related!! what DPO are you today?

  39. Lady Hibiscus

    cherry / 108 posts

@freckles- I'm so sorry to hear about you m/c. You can never know why it happened but I think cutting out coffee is a safe bet. Esp, when it's home brewed. There should be some kind of test strips that measure caffeine in coffee. Kind of like the test strips that check for alcohol in breast milk. I'm sure we would be millionaires if we figured that out.

  40. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: Umm, that would be awesome! Maybe it's a project we should embark on during our TWW...it took every ounce of self-control NOT to POAS this morning!!
