THIS IS NOT ANNOUNCEMENT! I am definitely pregnant, and just a cheerleader.

Now that that's clear, I just wanted to share this for those who are worried if their lines don't get darker fast enough once they get their bfp. The top test is from when I was around 4-5 weeks pregnant. It was the last one I took before quitting because they were freaking me out with not getting darker. The bottom one is from today, and I'll be 11 weeks tomorrow. I had an ultrasound this week, and everything is definitely good. Both were taken with very concentrated fmu.

So if your tests don't darken enough or at all, remember that it could very easily be the test, and nothing to do with you. Don't let it worry you!

@snowjewelz: haha, I definitely was TTC, but Hubs wasn't, haha! So our timing hasn't really been great because of that! Hopefully now we'll actually start doing it more often in my fertile window.

    HAPPY VALENTINES DAY LADIES!!!!!

hey y'all--- how are our testers doing today? Hopefully, some good news soon.... I've got my fingers and toes crossed for you ladies.

I am 4DPO with a non-stop raging headache and am angry as hornet. I would officially like to do away with my husband and everyone else I come in contact with. Thank goodness for you ladies.

This is the worst PMS ever and I'm only 4DPO. I'm hoping it gets better. It could also be caffeine withdrawal since I quit my coffee habit at the end of my last cycle. Does anyone ever feel this way this early on?!

Luckily for me there is online shopping and my american express. It's a match made in heaven when I am feeling like this.

Hopefully, I can turn this crappy mood around before DH gets home and drives me insane before the weekend.
    XOXO

@Lady Hibiscus: This isn't ttc related but when I quit diet coke I had nausea, headaches, etc for a month. I still was having coffee but I know I was having less caffeine than usual. It definitely can mess with you!

  6. Lady Hibiscus

    cherry / 108 posts

@googly-eyes:i believe it--- I am feeling kinda crazy right now. This just started after I ovulated so I'm thinking it has to do with the mess of hormones with the added stress of drinking gross decaf coffee from Panera (as if their normal coffee wasn't bad enough). I miss Starbucks:( Do you have any secrets or tips to ride out the month?

  7. googly-eyes

    GOLD / pomelo / 5737 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: sadly, no. I just waited and waited and it did end. I'm glad I did it now but it was hard. Maybe just find a new decaf.

  8. Lady Hibiscus

    cherry / 108 posts

Haha- Thank you I will do that--- Luckily, there is still Valentine's Day Candy!

  9. Freckles

    honeydew / 7444 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: I went through bad withdrawal the first time around but it was only for 2 days, surprisingly! I guess it depends on how much coffee you consume regularly. Sorry to hear about the rage!

@Keppa: Yay!!! Finally! FX for you my dear!

  11. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@theotherstark: not in TWW yet but I expect I'll ovulate today so we will BD tonight and tomorrow night just to cover our bases.

No peak on my monitor yet but a slightly lighter OPK this morning and tons of EW make me think today my egg will show up. We shall see.

  12. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@Lady Hibiscus: I had crazy headaches off coffee too. Can you try some green tea or. Decaf which has a bit of caffeine in it? Might soften the transition.

  13. PawPrints

    pomegranate / 3658 posts

I'm either 9 or 10 DPO today (FF says 10, I suspect it might be 9) and having a hard time resisting POAS. My boobs have definitely felt weird the past few days - swollen, definitely ouchy when I poke them. It's enough that I'm going to be pretty confused if I don't get a BFP. I need to wait at least until tomorrow morning though.

  14. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@PawPrints: fingers crossed for you doll! For what it's worth my nips were killing me the week before my BFP with my son. It was definitely more in the nipples than the whole breast. It had gone away by the time I got my BFP so for stress if the symptoms come and go. When do you plan to test?

  15. PawPrints

    pomegranate / 3658 posts

@MrsMccarthy: Aw, is it that way for everybody with the boobs? Mine are definitely less nipple and more whole-boob. Now I'm less hopeful. I'm going to test tomorrow AM, no way I can wait longer than that. Thanks for the FX!

  16. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@PawPrints: it's different for everyone! Do not lose hope.

  17. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@PawPrints: Definitely different for everyone. My boobs gave me zero indication of anything before I got my BFP!

  18. Espion

    pomegranate / 3577 posts

@PawPrints: Mine were whole-boob with my BFP. (Only here would that sentence make sense!) And it was strange, because I never, ever got boob tenderness with my cycles. In fact, I kept poking them because I was like, "Huh! So that's what boob tenderness is!"

@Mrs.Panda: SO happy for you, lady!! FX it gets higher and higher!

@dc yoga bee: I'm so sorry:-(. I was so hopeful for you. Maybe your cycle will somehow be "off" and allow you and DH to not miss your window? fx!
@Adira: Yay for your hubs getting on the baby train!
    @LindsayInNY: FX for you!!!

  20. PawPrints

    pomegranate / 3658 posts

@Espion: You just got my hopes way back up! That's *exactly* what the last few days have been like for me.

  21. Torchwood

    pomelo / 5607 posts

@PawPrints: Mine was whole boob initially! It's gotten more nipple only lately, but it wasn't at first.

Talk me off the crazy train please. I 99% think I am out his month seeing how I did not get a positive opk on day 9-16 which was yesterday.
Then tonight my DH caught me popping 2 Tums. He gave me a funny look asked if I am feeling ok. I said yeah I have just been having really bad heart burn and indigestion since Tuesday. So I have been taking lots of tums as they arm to help. This is abnormal. I take like 4 tums a year.
He continued to give me a weird look and I instantly said. No not possible. I didn't ovulate and it's to early.
    I am right right?!?

  23. snowjewelz

    wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts

@PawPrints: I had super sore boobs last cycle and BFN This cycle so far nothing from the boobs!

  24. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@PawPrints: My boobs don't hurt at all. If I push on them firmly they are a tiny bit more sensitive but I could probably take a punch to the boob and only mildly complain.

  25. MrsMccarthy

    honeydew / 7295 posts

@MrsScottish: I'm confused why CD are you? You can still ovulate and miss your surge with an OPK but you really shouldn't have any symptoms before 6DPO. Very hopeful for you

  26. Crystal

@MrsScottish: I'm confused too... What cd are you?

    @PawPrints: eek! FX!

@Lady Hibiscus: why did you give up caffeine? I also quit drinking it in December. I occasionally have it now, but not regularly.

  27. Mrs.Panda

    @MrsMccarthy: @Crystal: I'm thinking CD 17.

Got in some BD today which should be when I O'd. Now just gotta hit tommorw as O+1 and then say a little prayer that some spermies got to the egg and one or two implanted!

@Mrs.Panda: my boobs don't hurt at all either and I'm 7 wks 4 days. I kept expecting that to be a sign!

  30. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

    @MrsMccarthy: Fingers crossed for you!!

CD 20 and no sign of ovulating. But my temps have been more consistent than last cycle, so I'm hoping that's a good sign. Hopefully I can get Hubs on board to BD tonight and that I ovulate soon!

Cd 18 I really dont think o'd of if I did the tests is just bought are not working right. The last 3 months I got a positive opk on day 11 and 12. This clean my darkest was 9 and 10 but the line was not a dark as control but close. The line continued to get lighter and by cd 14 was not there. So I didn't think I o'd. Now cd 18 and my husban is looking at me like an Sloan because all I want to do is sleep ( like by 7 I am fighting to stay awake and alarm is waking me up at 540 instead me normally waking up at 530 before the alarm. I normally go to bed at 930 ish. ) I also have had wicked heart burn since Tuesday which I have nave ha before. I keep telling him to not go there but now he hase curious. Guess I will find out in a week. Have a 26-27 day cycle so next weekend af should show.

@Adira: sorry no ovulation yet. My first couple of pp cycles I was ovulating super late so if you can keep up the momentum to BD at least every other day till you see a shift it may be worth it.

I woke up this morning to yet another high on my monitor but I had a negative OPK so I gonna call it ovulation for now. We plan to BD once more tonight and then say a little prayer. I feel so relieved but also so scared to be entering the LP. I think I may try adding the B complex back in now that I am past ovulation but I'm not sure.

@MrsScottish: you never know!!! I hope it's good news for you.

  33. Adira

    wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts

@MrsMccarthy: Glad to hear that it's fairly normal to ovulate late! I decided to finally check out my cervix while I was showering and it felt pretty low and firm, so I don't think I'm even CLOSE to ovulating yet. Boo! I'm going to try to keep up the BDing every other day though, just to be on the safe side, but I think I'm in for another long cycle!

YAY for you ovulating! It seems liked you timed BD well too, so fingers crossed!!! Hopefully your LP is nice and long this time!!!

    Estimated O Date: Feb 17
    POAS/AF date: March 3

@KelLeeLeee: welcome!!! looks like you are and early March tester. We should have a march board going soon. Good luck in your baby quest!!!!

  36. Ms.Mermaid

@KelLeeLeee Hello! I just joined yesterday and everybody has been super nice, which is awesome. It's my first cycle trying too.

POAS question: until my temp spike earlier this week, both WomanLog on my phone and FF had me with an O-date last week. I was reading TCOYF and it mentioned that some people have a delayed temp spike after O, and thinking about it, that makes way more sense that me O'ing several days late, since this is my first time temping but in the past when I've charted my cycles, my midcycle pain lines up almost exactly with the estimated O-date from WomanLog. So, if I assume that I ovulated when WomanLog said I would, I could test as early as tomorrow, but otherwise I should wait until Wednesday. I had cramping and nausea on Wed/Thurs/Fri and now I'm just really tired (but I also just went for a nine mile run, so I'm not willing to call that a symptom) and I have mild heartburn, which I *never* have. Is a delayed temperature spike that normal? Or should I just wait until Wednesday to test?

  37. septca

    GOLD / pomegranate / 3688 posts

@Ms.Mermaid: delayed temp spike is *not* normal, but having O pain a few days before O is totally normal. If you have good temping habits, I would definitely trust FF.

@crystal- my husband came across some studies that indicated some maturation issues with eggs depending on how much caffeine is consumed.. I really don't have a gauge on how much caffeine is in each cup of coffee I brew at home since I typically drink my coffee black and strong. While I am sure it's probably okay-- I can't really quantify how much caffeine is in each cup. It was enough for me to kick the habit for a little while. My husband ( a physician) was not entirely convinced by the study..

@KelLeeLeee: Welcome! Hope you enjoy the HB world. Enjoy your BD-looks like O is pretty soon for you!

@kelleeleee- welcome! I'll add you to our March POAS list.

Also, does anyone have the desire to host the March board?-- still early, but thought I would throw it out there. @MrsMcarthy- I know you had expressed interest for February. Anyone else?

I'm feeling less rageful at 5DPO - I'm thinking the long run this morning helped. Had crazy cramps last night and lower back pain- I hope I didn't ovulate later than I thought.. I did have a temp drop on day 2 dpo but I read something in tcoyf about a fallback rise-- anyone experience this? This is my first time charting so I am unsure whether this is typical for me. I don't have FF but here is my chart from my phone. The temp drop on CD 16 was not questionable and I checked it more than once to make sure it was correct. Thoughts?
