@ChiCalGoBee: I know it's possible, and I guess the timing would line up, but I thought the percentage of people who actually get IB is pretty small, which is why I don't think it is. Plus, I've had some cramping.

Your temp rise sounds really promising!! Eeep, keeping my fingers crossed for you

@Crystal: I didn't test early the cycle I had a chemical. I tested at 13DPO and the chemical happen around a week later. My understanding is that a chemical is often confused for a late period. But I would've been over a week late so there's no confusion there?

  3. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@LindsayInNY: that's what happened to me too.

I would just hate to see the lines, then have my period arrive anyways. Though I suppose that's not much different than it happening late, so...

Does anyone else obsessively google implantation during the TWW? I'm thinking the easiest I can possibly test is Saturday, since I most likely have not implanted yet. It's so much easier when you get implantation bleeding!

    @theotherstark: fx it's implantation!

  5. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

    @ChiCalGoBee: fx!!!!

@radish: and that's why I like you! Lol

  6. theotherstark

    pomegranate / 3045 posts

@Crystal: FX, although I'm not holding out much hope at this point. Ha.

How many dpo are you? I've read that a lot of women don't have any sign of implantating (neither cramps nor bleeding), so it's possible it happened and you didn't notice

Received my order of opks and hot tests from amazon yesterday. Excited to start peeing on sticks in a week or so. Today is day 2.

@Crystal: I obsessively google everything during TTC... so yeah. I got a super faint line around 8-9 dpo with afternoon urine with LO on a FRER. Saturday sounds like a good day for you to test if you can hold out.

@theotherstark: It is so hard because what happens for everyone is different and even how people have implantation bleeding is different. Hope that is the case for you!

@Crystal: Most definitely! Snowdrop gave me this awesome calculator last week:
    http://www.whenmybaby.com/implantation-hcg-calculator.php

    It was REALLY interesting!

@theotherstark: And every pregnant and every cycle is different for each woman.
Do you think it's easier not to get your hopes up so as not to face the disappointment of a BFN?
That's the way I was my first cycle, but then the next cycle I just decided to have hope- and the month was SO much more enjoyable.
    Try to enjoy the journey!

Estimated O Date: Today, 1/30/14 (but I may have to update)
    POAS/AF date: 2/14/14 (Awww )
    Cycle #: 6, Month #11
Chart link: Can't link it at work...
Trying new this cycle: Clomid, OPKs two or three times a day, BD EOD until O is confirmed, raspberry leaf tea
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? My favorite candy, Reeses hearts for sure!! We don't really celebrate V Day, but mostly because my birthday is fouor days later, so it's kind of a combo celebration

Hey ladies, CD 19 here with still no positive OPKs. Feeling pretty down

I have ordered Royal Jelly to try next cycle. I will probably do one more cycle of Clomid 100mg before I try to get in with a RE. Why won't my body comply!

ETA: These are as dark as they have gotten

@Radish: @HolisticMama: Thanks for the positive thoughts, ladies I really appreciate it! Love how supportive this board is.

SO. Did I mention how impatient I am?
I decided to call my RE and ask if there is a set number of days passed a missed period that they want you to consult with them.

If I don't have a period by Monday- They want me to call back. And then whenever AF does arrive- I need to call anyway to schedule my next OAR for CD3.

I really want to work on my patience for February...but I have no idea what the looks like. LOL.

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@HolisticMama: You are probably the right person to ask: when do I use royal jelly in my cycle? I should be getting it next week. Do I start it at the beginning of the cycle since it mimics estrogen?

  16. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Mrs.Panda: What's your cycle history? That's what my OPKs would look like now because I typically don't O until CD19-20. When do you usually O?

  17. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Mrs.Panda: Same question as @LindsayInNY, when do you normally O? Do you have long cycles?

  18. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@LindsayInNY: I don't know, I have PCOS and my cycles are not normal in the least. I am on Clomid. I have yet to see myself ovulate in all of my charting.

ETA: the first month I had no O and no positive OPK at 50mg of Clomid. I had to take Provera to get AF. The next cycle was a repeat of 50mg, but my cycle was only 18 days! This is my third cycle but my first at 100mg. No monitoring.

  19. littlek

    GOLD / squash / 13576 posts

@Mrs.Panda: What dosage are you on? Are you being monitored?

  20. Mrs.Panda

    nectarine / 2358 posts

@littlek: This is my first month on 100mg and I am not monitored.

ETA: here is my chart. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/MrsPanda My first month was weird because on CD 32 I still hadn't gotten a positive OPK so my GYN told me to take Provera. I took two pills and got a positive OPK. I stopped and we tried to BD but I got AF 5 days later, as I always do after Provera. I looked it up to see if PRovera could ever cause ovulation and there are accounts of people getting posotive OPKs after taking the first pill or two, but my GYN said no. So confusing.

@HolisticMama: Well I'm glad you'll hopefully be getting some answers soon!

My cousin is having her D&C tomorrow if you guys could keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She still hasn't told her 4 year old son either, he was so excited to be a big brother =(

  22. LindsayInNY

    bananas / 9229 posts

@Mrs.Panda: Ahh, that helps. I don't have personal experience with PCOS but a lot of bees on here do. Might be worth starting a thread asking people? Otherwise, I hate to say it, but I would keep using OPKs in the meantime until you see a positive.

  23. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@theotherstark: I think I'm about 6dpo. I'm still trying to figure out the correlation between positive OPKs and when I ovulate.

I had implantation bleeding last time, which was my first clue, but I know it' doesn't always happen.

6 DPO, definitely had some interesting CM today, kind of like ewcm, but not clear. this was opaque and whitish yellow. could be something, or I am just symptom spotting like a crazy!

  25. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@HolisticMama: neat calculator, but I'm confused by it. Which of the many boxes tell me when it thinks I implanted? Sorry if I'm dense...

  26. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Mrs.Panda: In most of the research I've done, people seem to take it through their entire cycle, about 1000mg. But I've seen other people recommending to stop at O, but since your O is allusive, I'd recommend taking through the whole cycle.

  27. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@ChiCalGoBee: It took my awhile too. LOL. So the dates running across the top are possible implant dates, since you could implant anywhere between 6 and 12 days.
So for me- I think I ovulated on January 15th. If I implanted on 12DPO...I look down the left hand side- and really...the earliest I could get a BFP would be is Friday. (Based on the blue boxes in the middle) And that's with a 5 miu/ML. If it's less...like...3? It's not even on the chart. LOL.

    Make more sense now?

@HolisticMama: thank you!! And thanks for not calling me an idiot:)

May I join? I'm not technically TTC but dh decided to throw his inhibitions to the wind and not pull out on my first day of fertility and hasn't been careful since so I am cautiously optimistic
Estimated O Date: tomorrow (Jan. 31)
POAS/AF date: expecting AF on the 14th so I might test on the 17th just to be sure... unless I feel differently.
    Cycle #: 1
    Chart link: n/a
    Trying new this cycle: n/a
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? Well if AF comes on time things definitely won't be sizzling I don't really know what our plans are, it would be cool if we got a bfp though as for candy I am really craving dark chocolate! My favorite is ghiradellis dark chocolate with caramel and sea salt... nomnomnom

When would YOU POAS with the following info?

Last two cycles have been 28 days
I am pretty sure I Od (late?) on CD 19
    I'm currently at CD 26.

Rationally, I know that I've had 30+ day cycles in the past, so holding out to POAS on Sunday or Monday (10&11 DPO) is probably smartest. I'd love any feedback, though. I also could get AF on Sat or Sun, and know that 1) I'm not KU and 2) I have a super short luteal phase. But I am going to remain positive that that WON'T happen:-).

Soooo...if you were me, when would YOU POAS?

  31. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@lioneyes: join the club! I'm a symptom spotting fiend!

  32. HolisticMama

@Mrs.Panda: i am so sorry that you have been having a rough time with this. i hope you ovulate soon.

@ChiCalGoBee: i personally have no patience so if you have cheapees i say why not test but if you think it would bum you out beyond belief to see BFN then maybe wait a few more days. Fingers crossed for you! i totally had IB with my son at around 11 DPO

  34. Radish

    nectarine / 2079 posts

@ChiCalGoBee: I would probably test at 9 dpo.

  35. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

    @ChiCalGoBee: I would POAS Saturday.

    @wonderstruck: T&P to your cousin.

@HolisticMama: are you testing every day right now? I afraid it's a slippery slope for me!

Would you test even if you had no symptoms?

    POAS/AF date: 2/17

    Trying new this cycle: opk
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? No plans for vday. Fav candy pretzel m&ms.

  37. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Crystal: Yup. But I am a TOTAL nerd, because I will decide I don't want to test in the morning....and then always end up doing it at night. Silly.

I would totally test even if I didn't have symptoms. I'm super curious by nature.

  38. Crystal

    grapefruit / 4028 posts

@HolisticMama: why not FMU?! That's the first thing I'd be doing every morning! Lol

I literally have no symptoms, and it's probably too early to test, but I still want to!

  39. ChiCalGoBee

    nectarine / 2028 posts

@Crystal, @radish, @mrsmccarthy, @holisticmama: thanks for weighing in! This weekend might be it...we'll see if my period shows up (FX it doesn't)!

  40. HolisticMama

    persimmon / 1167 posts

@Crystal: Because I'm a huge weirdo. I don't know. And I have been sleeping so lamely- I will get up like two times to pee at night anyways...so I think, "Well- this isn't even really FMU anyways."
