Time to join in, I suppose
Estimated O Date: No clue. First cycle off BC after 13 years on. Currently CD 10.
POAS/AF date: Planning to start testing 10-14 DPO or on CD 28 if I can't pinpoint O date.
Cycle #: 1
Chart link: http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/drjolene
Trying new this cycle: Everything!
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? Nada planned so far. Kind of hoping hubby will suggest something soon. Favorite candy is the Dove dark chocolate pieces.

@Mrs.Panda: The cycle I conceived DD, I took it every day from CD1-O. My husband also took it - it is supposed to be GREAT for male fertility. He hated it, but he did it anyway.

Okay, I am cautiously joining. Pretty sure this cycle will be a bust because I will O on my "bad" side, but I am trying to think positively, so join I will!
Estimated O Date: I am going to guess Tuesday, 02/04 or Wednesday, 02/05 (my cycles have been wacky since coming off BCP).
POAS/AF date: I will start testing (early and often!!) about 9 DPO, so you can list me for Valentine's Day (why not, right?).
Cycle #: Cycle 3 TTC#2
Trying new this cycle: BD EOD starting at CD15 (today!), dramatically reduced BFing (hoping that helps), had an HSG last cycle so things should be nice and clean and slippery.
What do your sizzling hot V-Day plans involve? And because I am craving chocolate right now, what is your favorite V-Day candy? Ha ha. Probably sitting on my couch, drinking champagne, and binge-watching "House of Cards." I am *in love* with the Lindt milk chocolate truffle balls, but only the ones you actually buy in Switzerland, which are *way* better than the ones you can buy in the U.S.

I'm really blah today, Bees. At work I have a student who has been violating our safety and security code of conduct and has been making me feel a bit uncomfortable, but none of the executive leadership team seems to care. At least I put them on notice so if something does happen- I won't be liable. It's starting to snow pretty heavily- and since we already established that they don't care about the safety of their staff and students...we probably won't get to leave early. -_-
On the home front? BFN with FMU. No signs of AF. No cramping. No spotting. I'm just SO tired. And feel hormonal and emotional.
Going to a friend's father's funeral tomorrow that is out of town, so I hope the roads are okay. I bought her some sleepytime herbal spray, relaxation tea, homeopathics for emotions, an essential oil blend, and rescue remedy. I also got her a hanky that I am going to write on with a fabric pen and soak it a bit with the essential oils.
Gosh. I'm a real downer today. I'm sorry, ladies.

@HolisticMama: ugh, that is a lot. *hugs* Sucks that you still are in limbo - I really hope you get your answer soon.
Looks like I'm finally gearing up to ovulate sometime this weekend and will officially be in the TWW. This is the third cycle where I ovulated almost a week late pp.

@Radish: Yay! I have been temping but have no idea when I will O I have been checking CM, I think after days of dryness, there seems to be some action in the CM department! I can't seem to analyze anything right though, I might have to try to DTD every 3 days or something!

@HolisticMama: I'm sorry you're having such a rough day I hate waiting, it's the worst.
I swear it is going to be the longest two weeks. I am usually pretty good at ignoring these two weeks but everything feels so iffy this time! I hate thinking about things and getting my hopes up.

@HolisticMama: I have endometriosis. When we tried to conceive DD, both tubes were blocked for a year +, then I had surgery and got one cleared. My HSG last month showed that both tubes are open, but there is scar tissue between my left tube and ovary so it's unclear whether I can conceive on that side.

@snowjewelz: Have you ever noticed EWCM before?
@Radish: Thanks for thinking about me. Late Os are a pain.
@Radish: Yes, the 2WW can be challenging. I found myself really enjoying getting my hopes up this cycle, but now that I'm stuck...I'm feeling..nothing, really. Not hope. Not disappointment. I'm just here. And maybe that's exactly where I need to be.

@HolisticMama: I believe so, and this is even before I got off BCP.
I am just one cycle in charting, I'm not even at TWW and I'm already SO frustrated! Every step can be so challenging in their own ways.

@septca: Boo. At least the HSG showed that it is clear! Sometimes the body can do just remarkable things! Since you are being cautiously optimistic. I will be overly optimistic for you to make up the difference.
I always really appreciate your insight.

@septca: Fingers crossed that you find out you are able to conceive even when ovulating from that side!
@HolisticMama: I'm sorry you're having a rough day =( Hope the roads clear up and your mood lifts soon.
I'm bad and have been testing already...9DPO today and so far it's a BFN. I know 9 days is still early-ish though, 10 days seems to be a more popular day for the early BFPs to start popping up. Although I can feel my optimism about this cycle fading...
nectarine / 2079 posts
@snowjewelz: Yeah, I am not even 100% when I actually ovulate, I just have obvious CM for 2 days in a row usually - but I don't know if it is the first day or the second day or even after that. We just DTD a lot.
@cyndistar3: looks like we will be 2ww buddies! I am testing on Feb 9th, though. Can't wait until a missed period.
pomegranate / 3980 posts
@Radish: woooo! Yea if I had my way I'd start testing sooner but I have had the greatest luck of testing and getting my period the next day... dh won't let me test until after AF is due

@Radish: Good luck!! FX you ovulate soon!

@wonderstruck: I tested today (8 DPO)...dumb dumb dumb. The stark white was so bright my eyes hurt-:-/. Definitely need to wait until at least Sunday/ Monday to test again, and hope AF doesn't show up before then....or at all!!!

@ChiCalGoBee, @ wonderstruck- it's still early--- you're not out yet!!!! Hoping you guys see your soon.

@wonderstruck: @ChiCalGoBee: I tested yesterday at 8dpo in the afternoon with no hold. Obviously, a BFN Right there with ya, ladies!! I am too impatient for this.
persimmon / 1167 posts
@wonderstruck: Thanks! Maybe your well wishes helped! The school did end up closing early and I got home and took a bath with essential oils, candles, and tension tamer tea. I feel much better now. Still have a headache, but maybe that will go away after sleep. DH and I are going to a GREAT pancake place before the funeral tomorrow.
@Lady Hibiscus: I LOVE IT!! Thank you so much for thinking about me! It's perfect!
It reminds me of this one:
@Crystal: I am hoping so! I get to at least call and check in with the RE on Monday per their instruction if AF doesn't arrive. But I'm just having creamy white/yellowish CM and no cramping. My skin is also glorious (I'm still really enjoying that). So I don't know where AF is. I lost her.
@ChiCalGoBee: Yeah. 8DPO is pretty early. If the BFNs bum you out- you might want to try to put off testing. I was talking to one of my girlfriend's in class and she said she had to wait 3 weeks after her missed period before a test turned positive! GOOD LORD! I would die of impatience! (Thus...making a phone call on day 2 of missed period. LOL).
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Lady Hibiscus: awe thanks! It was stupid....I should have waited until at least tomorrow. Now I'm putting myself on a NO POAS "diet" until Sunday or Monday. Hoping temps stay UP and AF stays away (for like 10 months ha ha!)
How is everything going with your OPks?:-/
nectarine / 2028 posts
@theotherstark: it's soooo hard not to! I'm hoping today's disappointment will be a good reminder for tomorrow. And Sunday....:-)
nectarine / 2028 posts
@HolisticMama: thanks for keeping me hopeful!! Sorry you've had a rough one-sending love and light your way.
nectarine / 2028 posts
@Crystal: here here! I will be having a burger, fries and a shake tonight, so at least I'm only restricting my "diet" to P sticks:-). Indulging in food and a manicure to keep my spirits up!
nectarine / 2028 posts
@theotherstark: hang in there!! Resist the urge! I'm trying to:). Anti-AF vibes to all who are in the TWW!
pomegranate / 3791 posts
Okay so I went and bought preg tests tonight that I planned on taking tomorrow or Sunday...but I was tempted and decided to be bad and take one tonight, even though I know it's better to use first morning urine...but LOOK AT THIS! It's light, but that is a freaking line!!!!
Oh, and excuse my disgusting counters =)

@wonderstruck: AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! AAAHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! I am SO excited for you!!!!! Congrats, lady!!!!!!
pomegranate / 3791 posts
@Torchwood: @ChiCalGoBee: @MrsScallop: @Radish: Thank you!! I'll take another in the morning just to see if get darker, but I've looked at enough negative tests these past few months to know a BFP when I see it! I'm so so excited =)!!!

@wonderstruck: I see it!!! oMG Omg OMG! Yay!!!!!! I am so thrilled for you. Have a happy and healthy 9 months.
