Went in to get Baby A this morning to find a smell in the nursery and Baby A and her crib covered in dried vomit. It's her 10 month birthday today. I have no idea when it happened. I check on her at 10:30 before I went to sleep and all was fine. She had a big dinner - pouch and yogurt, which was different for her. I just felt so bad that she was sick and then was just lying in it all night. I wish she would have cried or something and woke me up. Poor baby.

I know this has happened to so many moms! you are not horrible at all. If LO was feeling really terrible I"m sure she would have cried out for you. (((hug)))

oh poor babe. i agree with @cmomma17: if she needed you, she would have cried out for sure! she probably threw up, felt better and then went back to sleep. give her extra cuddles this morning. you're not a bad mom!

@cmomma17: @birdofafeather: Thank you. I know you're right. It just felt so horrible to see her like that. She seems OK now. Was definitely extra clingy this morning. Was more than happy to just cuddle her.

That happened to ds once when he was 4. At first I thought the dog came in and threw up on his room cause it was going down the side of the bed onto the floor. He didn't even remember doing it. But then he threw up 3 more times so it turned out to be a stomach bug.
It does make you feel awful though!

Ugh, my LO once scraped a cat's hairball into his mouth before I stop it from happening, if that makes you feel any better. He survived, although I still gag whenever I think about. So gross! (I can't believe I just admitted that story online).

Aw it'll be ok! Maybe she choke on drool of something. Hope your LO isn't sick. It's not your fault!

Maybe it kept her warm? Lol
My kid sits in her own poop at night to the point it dried l crusty. Sometimes, things just don't bother the babes
