I've been really low on energy the last few days. Any suggestions on things I can do? All I want to do is sleep all day.

I love eBoost. It has green tea extract and is a great energy booster with no crash!

Vitamin D? Not sure where you live but Vitamin D deficiency is very common in places that don't get much sun, particularly this time of year.

I found that when I was eating clean and exercising regularly I slept much better and had much more energy!
I backslid a lot since pregnancy but I'm excited to get back into it after LO is born. I miss how much better I felt.

I know it's counterintuitive but exercise perks me up when I feel chronically low on energy. Have you had your thyroid checked?

@Danizaur: that is what I was going to say.
@sunny: I would consider your diet (before supplememts). Eating clean whole vegetarian foods has changed.my.life.

making time to be outside always boosts my energy, even in the crappy winter weather (which I hope you arent dealing with as bad as I am)

I agree with PPs. What I've been helped most by is getting sunshine on your skin however you can get it (near a window if it's too cold outside - just make sure the neighbors don't get a show
) and also maybe toss a bit more iron into your diet or take a supplement. I perked right up once my last test came back a little low and the OB put me on a small dose of iron.

i would ask your dr to run some labs just to make sure you aren't suffering from a deficiency of some sort. are you feeling okay otherwise? having trouble sleeping? vitamins, sunshine, a brisk walk, and healthy foods make a world of difference! but i would def check with your dr if your noticing something that doesn't seem to let up even when you're doing those things to take care of yourself- sometimes there's something else going on that needs special attention. i have a B12 issue & no matter how much i take in, it's not going to make a difference, even the sublingual kind, i have to take it intramuscularly, it sucks, but right now i feel like crap because it's low & i know once my body has what it's needs, i'll feel so much better! (and i'll stop dropping things and forgetting everything!) hope you feel better soon!

@sandy: Definitely not pregnant! Though I did feel like this when I was in my first trimester! I wonder if I am just deficient in some vitamins. At one point or another I've been advised by my PCP to take iron and vitamin D so I need to get started on that again.
@Danizaur: @MrsH: Exercise is probably a good plan. I just hate doing it, especially when I'm feeling blah!
@Mrs. Confetti: @indi: I made my husband go take a short walk with me and I did feel a bit better afterwards!
Thanks for all the suggestions

@sunny: @sandy: lol, I was going to say the same thing- take a pregnancy test
Do something that makes you happy- take a shower/bath, eat something that is a favorite, read a book.
Otherwise caffeine is my go to aide.
