T wears a size 3 shoe at 12 months, and some 3s still fall off of his feet. Hes not walking yet and won't be for a while, but he needs solid soled shoes for spring/summer and I can rarely find more than 2 options in size 3s online!!
Any ideas?

Why do you need solid soled shoes? C had really small feet for a while (I think they are normal for her age now?) and I just didn't bother with shoes until she was walking for the most part. But then again, I was that mom bringing her kid to the park in socks.
Eta: she did have a pair of skr smallers in size 3 or 3.5 that she wore a lot. And a couple of soft sole robeez.

@Foodnerd81: He does a lot of standing. For example this weekend we're going to a birthday party and he will run around in a walker while we're there. We also hold his hands and help him take steps when we go to the park and such.

H is still in her size 3's at 17 months. I got a lot of recommendations for Stride Rite, See Kai Run and their Smaller line, and Pediped. From experience, the SKR Smaller shoes will hold up to outdoor play as long as it's not wet.

@artsyfartsy: ah gotcha. But they don't need to be "hard soled" just more sturdy than socks? Honestly her robeez soft soles were fine for what you describe as long as the ground was dry. I was just too cheap to buy proper shoes until she actually was walking because I knew her feet would grow so fast!

@Foodnerd81: That's true! I guess I just love how cute the big boy shoes are and I want some. Haha. The little shoes look like baby shoes and I feel like he's too old!!

He needs soft soles of he isn't walking and learning to walk. Smaller by SKR are great. My LO wore them for a month after walking: on the playground, taking walks around the block, etc. they hold up great. They have sales all the time and they fit small feet great. LO was a size 3 when walking but she had size 2 from them as well.

@Smurfette: Really? Hmm. I guess that makes sense. I just never saw the soft soles as shoes made for walking in. Although I know bare feet is best for learning to walk, which he always is at home.

@artsyfartsy: Yep! I only moved to hard soles cause it was raining a lot. Then like a month later she went up a size, of course!
