Trying to figure out what color to paint our 'white' trim at our house (I'd take suggestions for this too - most likely using Sherwin Williams). Debating between satin and semi-gloss finish. Anyone have any experience with this? I've heard semi gloss is easier to clean but not sure I love the sheen...

Satin is still considered to have some sheen to it. It's not like, say, matte paint, that will come up when you try to clean something off it. Semi gloss is pretty dang shiny stuff, IMO

I'm pretty sure we used semi gloss paint. DH thinks so too but he's distracted watching funny videos on his phone.

I prefer semi-gloss. I've used both and i don't think it's that glossy.

Semi gloss. We always go with the basic trim white off the shelf.

Semi gloss for trim. We used Benjamin Moore Snowfall all over our house for the trim and doors.

I love love love paint. We used semi-gloss on our trim, in Benjamin Moore's "Dove White," and it's beautiful!

Ours are semi gloss and I don't find it too shiny at all. And the ability to easily wipe clean is nice with dirty little hands.

We have semi gloss for trim and eggshell for walls.

We use semi-gloss for trim but only trim, eggshell or satin for walls. Trim is typically semi-gloss for cleaning purposes and so the dust on baseboards doesn't show up as much. Also, the more gloss you have the more light reflects in the room and can help subtly brighten up rooms without much natural light.
I use the Behr bright white from home depot. It's definitely a pure white without undertones which I really like. It's super easy for white to be slightly yellow or slightly tan. In fact, when we bought our house all the trim was "white" but it was builder grade white and when i painted over it with real white it looked soo different!
