So my apartment posted they'd be doing a building wide fire alarm test today at 12:30, so I made sure my nanny had J outside because he is deathly afraid of the alarm (we've set it off while cooking before and it takes a very long time to calm him down).

It came and went, no big deal... Well nanny texts me at 3:30pm that they did the fire alarm test AGAIN, not only waking J from his nap but crying and shaking in terror! Now the poor kid is afraid to go to sleep and keeps whimpering about the fire alarm... Ugh I'm so upset about it! My poor baby. He isn't a fearful child AT ALL- this is only one of two things that scares him (the other being falling off those god-awful public restroom diaper changing things- don't blame him).
