Baby ncmz at 19m had finally ear tube and adenoids surgery. That day she was a mess but it has been a week and she is being doing wonderfully. She is now babbling no-stop, being saying mama, ba (for bye), etc... We are glad that she is now her old self.
Now she seriously need to catch up on speech. She is currently in EI for speech and OT. OT she is starting this week home, for SLP she has a therapist going to daycare and she only had 6 session. Although I saw some minor improvements I now want to really see her speech flying! Unfortunately, she came late to school last week so my dd now has to make up 2 sessions. On top of that she has not returned 3 txt messages and if I did not asked the school I would not have not that dd did not received services last week. So now I am disappointed. I am going to wait a month to see if there are further improvements otherwise I was thinking to ask someone to come home. It will be more work for us but at least I would have more control and I will know how to replicate! ( I asked the SLP to attend a session to see what it is all about bc really .30 x1 is not going anywhere but she first time she had to cancel and the second time she has not replied yet). What should I do? Also, when did you see improvements in your LO? Months, weeks? TIA
