I worry more about things like a blanket for winter, water for summer, snacks for kids, change of clothes. .

I have a little emergency kit with first aid stuff, mini deodorant, nail file, pads/tampons, mini lysol, mini tp roll. In the back I have lo'so old diaper bag packed with changes of clothes/undies for her and blankets and water bottles.

I don't have a first-aid bag (although I should! on my to-do list), but I do have a "disaster" bag for all different kinds of situations, some more common than others!

- a handful of extra diapers
- a pack of wipes
- a change of clothes for each kid
- a fold-able toilet seat (extreme potty emergencies for going without a bathroom!)
- a dria cover that can be a blanket, a poncho/shirt for me, and has even been tied to make a shirt for my 3 year old!
- 5-6 lara bars, pouches, etc
- 2 bottles of water
- sunscreen

For a true first-aid kit, I'd have a roll of athletic tape & gauze (to make larger bandages or for other random things), a handful of bandaids of various sizes with neosporin, some pain reliever, some TUMS, and some immodium. Often times the kits will also have some burn ointment, an epipen, and butterfly bandages.
