Last weekend we attempted our first friend sleepover, DD and her best friend are both 3 1/2. At around 11 pm her friend wanted to go home, which is not a big deal, they live 4 houses down and she is DH's best friends daughter so we just called and he walked over and got her.

We knew they were a little young, but they are moving at the end of the month so 1) we wanted to give her parents a chance to pack at night and 2) we knew it was a risk and wanted them to be close for this exact reason!

It was fun to try but I don't think I'll be doing it again anytime soon When did your LO have their first friend sleepover?
