When did LO get their first molars?
I am wondering if R is working on hers. She won't let me check inside her mouth. But she cried out in her sleep last (always a sign), chewing on her hands, and she feels a little hot to me. She is 11 months.

No sign of them yet for my LO at 17 months . . .she is just now cutting her 6th tooth! (this will be her 4th top tooth . . . just 2 on the bottom). I wish she would let me look in her mouth (she had an off night last night too . . . several bouts of waking up and crying and then putting herself back to sleep).

@Smurfette: my LO got hers around 16 months.
How many teeth does your LO have at the moment? Usually they come in after all the incisors have erupted.

I want to say it was between 14-15 months when 3 molars came out at once...he just finished cutting his 4th molar at 16 months.

@yellowbird: She has 8! We like to call her an over achiever.

DS is almost 15 months and his last first molar just cut. The last two months or so, all four were cutting. Thankfully, we didn't notice until three had cut through. The fourth took a lil while, but the only thing we really noticed was that he was biting his bottom lip a TON (to the point where his chin would dry out and chap).

L started cutting hers around 10.5 months. I can still only see a little bit of white on one side and she's 13 months now.
She has had eight teeth since eight months.

@yellowbird: Is it possible to get them at the same time as the 4th incisor?

@MsLipGloss: anything is possible! I see different patterns all the time. After all the incisors is the usual pattern, but it could vary.

DS is a late teether and got his first probably around 15-16 months and is still working on the second at 17 months. It's mostly in but slow going so causing a lot of pain and sleepless nights.
@MsLipGloss: I think it's possible for them to come in any order, at any time. DS has just his 2 bottom central incisors, 1 top central incisor, and the two top first molars.

@MsLipGloss: DS got his 4 molars and last incisors at the same time. His incisors actually cut through just after all the molars did.

DS got all 4 molars + all 4 canines at once. It started around 13 months and they were fully in by around 15 months.

Do her cheeks look puffy? DS has always gotten puffy cheeks when molars are coming through. He's got his 6 year ones coming in, now, and he's pretty puffy in the cheeks.

Ours are very close to the surface at 13 months. The teething has been going on FOREVER though! the worst pain seemed to be a few weeks ago and the drooling has calmed down recently, but we were at bucketfuls for the past couple of months. It's a slooow process.
