What was the first movie you saw in the theater?
My family didn't have a lot money growing up, so we never went to the theater. The only time we would go is when there was a blizzard, haha. Not sure how safe/smart that was of my parents! Anyway, we went and saw the Little Mermaid. It's still my favorite princess movie!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I don't remember it, but apparently I loved it. I was obsessed with Ninja Turtles when I was 2-3.

Side note: when Buzz pretended to throw up the pizza, it made me feel super sick and I demanded that we leave (huge vomitphobe right here)! For years after, the smell of movie popcorn made me nauseated.

Dune! Yeah, it wasn't intentional, I refused to stay with my grandparents, so my parents took me with them (I was almost 3).
My first intentional movie was Willow- we went to the drive-in to see it!

Pinocchio, which I saw with my sister and grandparents. It actually really scared me and to this day I hate that movie! (I just looked it up to see when that movie was released and it was 1940! I'm not that old! It must have been a special showing of the old movie? I was maybe 6 or 7?)

101 Dalmations! They showed it in a theater when I was about 5. My parents surprised me. It was awesome.

Hook (I think I was 7). I was terrified and slept in my favorite pjs for weeks, just in case I was going to be living in them in Neverland.

@abbydabbydoodlebug: The Little Mermaid was my first Disney Cartoon at the theaters and my first real movie with friends was "Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves" with Kevin Costner.

My mum had gone to Paris for the weekend and my Dad had been left with two crying babies and a very distressed cat. He didn't know what to o with us all. I remember a lady coming over to us to ask what was wrong, my poor dad!
