This is the first time I saw DS! My anesthesiologist was fantastic and made sure I was baby's first kiss. It was really sweet!

@Sweet T: Mommy's kiss is the best!!!!! I love c-section pics of when moms get to see their babies, they are so sweet. And OMG, the little arm rolls are to die for!

What gorgeous photos! This is my first snuggle with A during my c-sectiom - she stopped crying straight away and reached out her little hand to explore my face. Loved her so much straight away!

Here's her first pictures. My mom's phone died RIGHT after she took these. Was so thankful for them.

My first photo/first view of her is on my computer downstairs but she is 'just out' and covered in blood and vernix, I don't know if anyone wants to see that :S I love that picture though because she is SO new, and she has the same cry face then as she does now.

@MrsTiz: my coworker had a blue baby that stayed blue for almost 24hours after birth - it was because the cord was really tight around her and she came out super fast. They had her hospital photo photoshopped before sending out birth announcements!

Awww! SWEET thread! Q: Who took the pics for most of these pics? I know @bpcmarj: said her mom on the phone. I don't want anyone in there with us, besides DH. I've heard sometimes the nurses will take candid pics? Or do I need to tell DH to take them? I can just imagine these precious moments might not get captured in the chaos of the moment?

@shopaholic: The nurse or student nurse took ours! I'm glad she asked because I wasn't even thinking about pictures!

@shopaholic: DH took ours. They were all blurry though so I've only ever shared the ones I took of her a few hours after. But looking back now, I'm so happy he took them!

I am really sad that I didn't get any pictures of me and my second lo when she was born because dh didn't take any... but here is a pic of me with my first and a pic of my second that I had dh take because I didn't get to see her.

@shopaholic: my husband took a lot but I was totally micro managing from my bed! lol. lots of ours are blurry and I'm making the worst faces. but I really am glad to have them! also, my OB snagged my phone from me and got a really great one of DH and DD in the chair on his way out the door. My nurse also took one of the 3 of us when I asked, but my mom and dad came up after I was cleaned and settled (my mom tried to make the delivery but I was too quick), so she got some good ones too.

I first got to hold my oldest son the day after he was born. His birth family let us come visit and hold him for a bit.
I got to see my twins for a short time before they took them to the nursery with my husband. My blood pressure was tanking and they were trying to stabilize me so I wasn't all that with it. I got to hold them four hours later.
With my daughter it was a little less rushed so they took the time to let my husband get in the traditional c section family shot.

Here's my little man, first picture ever, then our first picture together after I'd showered. It was such a long night that I was so out of it and my nipples were hanging out in almost every single picture in the delivery room lol...

Here's the first pic of P we got..... Don't think we got any of me holding her.
I'm the picture taker out of the 2 of us so since I was a bit preoccupied we don't really have any pics. -
Here's his very first pic and then a pic later in the first week. The last is the first time I got to hold him...2 weeks in.
