So, I had/am having my first pregnancy migraine. I have a history of them. They started in my teens, stopped for many years, and started up again about a year ago. When I stopped taking the pill, I would typically get one about a week before my period, usually triggered by exercise.

I'm 8w4d and haven't had one in months, but I got a pretty bad one today. It came on differently than normal - with weird tingling in my right arm, but I ended up with that standard aura that I get, which has now passed and I'm just left with the brutal headache. In the past, acupuncture has helped. I was hoping that I would be in the clear for the pregnancy.

Anyone suffer from these and care to commiserate or offer any suggestions for surviving?
