my lo was sick when she was like 2 weeks old, for a week. it sucked & was very worrisome. I have no idea where she (and my mom & I) got it from - the hospital? it was an upper respiratory infection & she got it right around the time my milk came in.
she had congestion (she could only eat 3-4 min at a time b/c she'd get frustrated & just tstop & cry after that since she couldn't breathe through her nose) & a seal-bark cough. my sil is a pediatrician, so she kept an eye on her & it didn't get abd enough to have to go anywhere. she did only gain about 1/2 the weight she ought've though, so I'm hoping her 1 month check up shows that her weight gain is better.

My son didn't get sick until he turned 4 months old. He'd already been in daycare 2 months so I felt blessed to have it take that long. He caught a cold and then it turned into an ear infection so nursing was misery for him during that time but once the antibiotics started doing their thing life got back to normal.

LO didn't get sick for the first time until 5 months, and then it was just a mild runny nose. I had two bad colds prior to that, and fortunately she didn't catch either.

LO had a cold at about 10 days old. Scared us silly. Hasn't really been sick since - until daycare!
