@theotherstark: Errr I try to get to know my cervix... Not having too much luck even though I know what I'm supposed to do/look for. It's okay; DH & I are committed to BD EOD, so as long as I O at some point, I'll be okay! It's just tiring. If I knew this cycle is long I would've delayed BD EOD & OPK for at least 5 days!

@snowjewelz: Butting in on this thread again... I think a lot of the difficulty when TTC and tracking CM is differentiating CM from leftover semen - at least that was my case. That is pretty much why I decided to use OPKs this cycle. I hope you get some good answers soon!

@Radish: Oh yeah.. I don't even check on the days we BD! Esp if we BD in the morning, I only have time to lay there w/ my legs up for so long, and so all day long I'm not sure what's coming out of me... Even if we BD at night and I sleep after, in the morning it's still fairly "moist" down there. I'm just hoping I can keep temping/using OPKs and O will come soooooon. Plsss comeee!

@theotherstark: I'm with you and the dip sticks for OPKs. I have been really happy with them the last two cycles. I find it really easy to tell when it's darkest.
@snowjewelz: I do the same thing and wear dark underwear to see everything better. Haha, I thought I was super weird!
@Radish: I find that EWCM is different from semen because it tends to be crystal clear or with some pure white. I've noticed semen is more beige and cloudy. Also semen seems more thin and easily breaks apart where EWCM is much stretchier.
As for me, I'm CD 9 right now. Having a little creamy CM and no signs of O other than a sharp pain that feels just like O pains, but it's way too early and no positive or even close to positive OPKs yet. I'm thinking it might be a cyst because it's been off and on since AF/chemical. I'm really excited about getting to O this month. DH and I have been BD every few days, so I feel good about having some super fresh sperm!
I'm getting baby fever SO bad lately. Every time I see a baby or a small child I legitimately ache (emotionally). Anyone expecting to O soon? I think I'll start my TWW on March 19th.

Woohoo! I'm on cd 13 today, so just ahead of you. Love having cycle buddies!And definitely agree with you re: semen vs EWCM. EW is definitely more stretchy and not as cloudy, at least for me. The issue I've been having is more with Preseed vs EWCM, although I try to do kegels an hour or two after we BD to get all of that stuff out, so I can better tell what's going on the next day. Who knows if it works.

I think it can take a while to get "regular" again after coming off of BCP. Bummer, though; I imagine it must be really frustrating. I am really, really lucky in that my cycle is pretty regular (knock on wood!), so it makes it nice and easy to time things. And I get super frustrated waiting while TTC; I think I would be a million times more frustrated if I didn't know when O was happening!! Keeping my fingers crossed that you're close to O -

I still don't technically have AF, but I have had the slightest bit of brown spotting. In all honesty it's probably just AF arriving soon, although full flow usually starts 11dpo for me, and today is 12dpo, so not sure why my LP would be longer now. I'll take it I guess.

@ChiCalGoBee: Our timing was pretty good! IF I did/do indeed O today, then we hit O-4, O-2, O-1, and should hopefully hit O tonight, and maaaaaybe O+1. We'll see about that, though.
Haha. I usually don't feel too concerned to hit O+1, so we'll just play it by ear and see how we're feeling.But we had similar good timing the last two cycles, with no positive results (clearly), so I'm really trying not to get my hopes up this go-around. It's hard not to start the TWW with lots of anticipation and hope, though!

@theotherstark: yay for O! I'm having lots of EWCM but not positive OPKs yet. I think I had 5 or 6 days of EWCM last month before my positive OPK, so I'm hoping to O by Monday.

@snowjewelz I just wanted to say that the cycle we conceived, I didn't have any EWCM, only a tiny bit of watery CM at one point, but otherwise, almost nothing. I actually didn't think I had O'd at all until FF marked it based on my BBT. Just, for whatever reason, I had a super dry month. Are you temping as well?

I'm temping... My temps are dropping consistently the past few days so maybe I'm about to O! I'm really hoping my OPK today will give SOME indication!

@snowjewelz: Really hoping for you that you are about to O - I know you've been waiting for a while, and it's so hard!
I tested again today, at 13 dpo. A test with FMU appeared to be negative, but then about an hour later had a squinter. Ugh (it's not FRER, but one of those from early-pregnancy-tests.com, I get them free as part of a research study). I took another test with SMU and BFN. The brown spotting had been happening intermittently since Wednesday, but seems to have stopped about 9am this morning. I still don't have any cramps. I still feel like I'm just waiting for AF to show up and dash all my hopes, though it's 2 days late at this point.
