DS popped his first tooth this weekend and it's his top right lateral incisor. Various sources say the bottom two then the top two THEN it's the lateral incisors come out, which is when he should be 9-13 months old. Did your LO's teeth come out "out of order"? What order did they come in and at what age?

Weird!
We got the bottom two middle, top middle, and then the side top ones. She got the left one in and has been working on the right one for a month now. So annoying. I just want it to pop through already.

We are working on a bottom lateral incisor as a first tooth! I can still see buds of the bottom two middle, but I've been able to see them FOREVER and they still haven't cut.

My daughters' lateral incisor didn't come in until after she was 2 years old!

Lo's were all out of order. He got the bottom four, then the top lateral incisors and then finally the top central incisors.

He got the bottom 2 middle, then the top lateral incisor 3rd. Then the top middle and other top lateral incisors all at once. That was fun. 
I think he's working on another tooth, but can't tell which one it is, yet.

@Mrs. Polish: If DS cuts his other top lateral incisor next, I'm going to have a vampire baby until his other teeth come through!

This is random, and not to freak you out, but my yoga teacher told me that was her sons first tooth, and that it kind of fell out and was replaced by a little black tooth until the adult one came in. Or something weird like that, I may be forgetting the story....but it involved a black tooth and then normal adult. Mention it to your ped maybe? Her ped was the one who told her it might do strange things!

My little guys are coming out of order and after speaking with a pediatric dentist he saaid while it isnt the norm by no means is it indicitive of any future problems. My guy cut his two lower middle like normal, then both his later incisors came in (we call them his fangs), now his canine are cutting at the same time as his top middle. He is currently misable teething, ugh.

My LO didn't have any for ages and then at 10 months started on two front top teeth instead of the usual bottom teeth. I figure he didn't read the literature on the order teeth are supposed to come in. 
I mentioned it to the nurse in our ped practice and she didn't seem worried.
