For those of you who have the information. I'm curious if there's a correlation between early heart rate and gender.
LO's heart rate at 6 weeks 5 days was: 148/149
Baby #2's heart rate at 6 weeks 5 days was: 139/140
I had both first ultrasounds at 6weeks5days! Both were performed on the 4th of the month too. Haha.

Baby's was 128 at 6 weeks, 4 days. Since they started measuring him on doppler, he's been 140's and 150's (but 150's closer to beginning of second tri).

@chopsuey119: yeah, mine did that too but i read on the boards that people go for those 4D things to find out sooner.

@Andrea: We'll probably wait :T I'm gonna ask my tech if she can guess the gender when we go in for our 12 week ultrasound. haha.

@chopsuey119: I just talked to my sonographer about this. She says that after doing it for 15 years she has noticed no correlation between gender and heart rate and that the idea girls' heartbeats are higher/faster is simply a wives' tale. She said that the heart rate just depends on whether or not the baby is active or has recently been active, or if it is sleeping/not moving etc.
