@MrsTiz: Ugh... so sorry! That sucks. Hoping you get to talk to someone on Monday. I'd totally keep calling until someone spoke with me.

@MrsTiz: Can you go to an ER or something this weekend and see if you could get looked at?? I would be dying to know what was going on. So sorry they are making you wait!

@MrsTiz I'm SO sorry. That is all horribly frustrating and I can't imagine how stressed out you must be. Sending positive thoughts your way and hoping you get answers SOON.

That's weird. I can understand techs not saying anything, but I've always had a doctor come in afterwards....

@sorrycharlie: if you could PM your US picture I would appreciate it, DH wants to see

So angry for you!
Hopefully they are just following some sort of weird protocol and you get good news on Mon.

I missed this update...wow I am so sorry! Hang in there, it's almost Monday and hopefully you can get some answers. At my 7 and 8 week ultrasound there was no sound on the heartbeat, if that makes you feel better. I could only see it...but in your case it's BS that you couldn't see/hear/know what is going on with your own body.

Update #2:
They called this morning, and said that the baby measured as an early pregnancy, which would be 4-5 weeks, and that I should come in for some blood tests. I went up there, they took some blood and told me to come back on Wednesday so they can take more and compare, the woman taking the blood didn't know what it was for, so she couldn't tell me what they were testing for. They are so frustrating, but at least they're doing SOMETHING now. Sooo, Wednesday, more tests.

@MrsTiz: I think the bloodwork is to make sure your HCG is rising appropriately. Glad you got some answers! I'm hoping it's just early for you and that everything is a-ok!

@MrsTiz: They're measuring/observing your HCG and progesterone levels.

Sounds like things could just be early; after all, you weren't 100% positive of when you ovulated/conceived, were you? Fingers crossed that all is totalllllly fine and you were just off by a couple of weeks!

@ms.janedoe: No, I wasn't sure, so hopefully it's just very early! I'm keeping my Friday U/S either way, screw their 12 week wait

@MrsTiz: I've got an U/S friday too!
Like I mentioned before, I bet the lady at the u/s place just saw something really small of an earlier pregnancy and couldn't share a date change with you.
I hope you get an accurate EDD on Friday! When will you know your blood work results?

@MrsTiz: Yeah it sounds normal and they are just making sure everything doubles. Hopefully you get some answers soon!

@MrsTiz: Hoping it was just early to see much! And hope you get more answers at your u/s on Friday!

@MrsTiz: I hope you get some answers soon and I'm glad they are checking your HCG levels. I know the u/s is so frustrating when they cannot/don't tell you anything! It is our hospitals policy not to say anything during u/s and you have to sign a waiver stating that you understand the techs cannot tell you anything. Luckily they usually drop hints, but if they didn't it would have been an average of 2 weeks before we heard anything! Try not to stress at this point!

@mrsTiz: hoping that your dates were just off and you aren't as far along as you thought. When I got pregnant with DS, I got my positive HPT the day after my period was supposed to start and had to go in for blood work 3x before my OB would schedule the US (was checking to make sure my levels were increasing). I went for my US about 2w after the BFP and the tech wasn't able to let us hear the heartbeat but we at least got to see it and were given some pictures. Good luck!

@MrsTiz: Glad they called back! Do you have any idea of when you DTD? Does the date they gave you make sense to you?

Another update:!
They said they got the results of my blood test and my levels are "way up!" and I should be able to "see something now!". So instead of going in for bloodwork tomorrow and an appt Friday, I go in tomorrow for an ultrasound!
My doctor is on vacation so this is another doctor ordering all of these things and I feel really reassured! So tomorrow at 2:20 we might get to see the baby! Eeeek!
