Our first wedding anniversary is coming up in May and I'm struggling to come up with a unique, meaningful gift for DH. I would like to keep to the traditional paper gift and have thought of either a framed photo of us or maybe tickets to a concert or play he would like to go to.
Has anyone got other ideas? Care to share the gift you gave/received for yours?

I got my husband a silver replica of his wedding band because he almost lost his real one once and was bummed for a whole day until we found it. He loved it!
Concert tickets is a great one! Maybe a book?

we just treated ourselves to a ridiculously good meal at an exceptional restaurant (no paper involved other than the very lengthy check!). i like the idea of tickets to something, or you could maybe frame your vows? or frame a wedding pic with the vows?

I ordered a photo of our first dance with our lyrics surrounding it from Etsy. The seller was paperheartcompany. I was really happy with the quality and it fit the traditional gift of paper.
I also bought him a nice box to keep his watch collection in. My father passed away shortly after our wedding and DH now has all of his watches.

I got DH art . . . long story short, he/we loved the artist so much, we have acquired multiple pieces from the same artist!

I created a wedding photo album.and surprised him w/ a trip to St. Lucia.
Other ideas: book of love poems with a heartfelt poetic inscription or what about creating a shadow box of wedding stuff- program, menu card, vows, jewelry you wore, fav photo, his bow tie etc.

I like the idea of concert tickets! I wanted to stay within the paper tradition too so I got him a signed picture of Hank Aaron (he's an Atlanta Braves fan).

I got him subscriptions to two magazines he'd be wanting for a while. He loves getting them every month and I love that it stuck to the traditional 'paper' gift.
