Our LO will only be 4 weeks so I'm not getting anything. But next Christmas I'm getting him/her the PB Kids anywhere chair.

A Radio Flyer wagon?

what about a wooden rocking horse, or a nice toybox that he can use as he gets older? :Like a Stickley or EA one or something. It can double as like a cedar chest as he gets older.

I don't know! Maybe nothing? Her birthday and Christmas are days apart!!!

DS will be a year old on the 17th and I have no idea what to do for birthday or Christmas.
We got him a Radio Flyer trike-to-bike but took it out early so he could actually use it before his birthday (winter is pretty nasty in Boston).

PBK Anywhere Chair? Convertible Carseat? (we have to get this anyway) PBK rocking horse/bear/etc?

What about a cool rocking horse? They had some really neat animal ones on Zulily a little bit ago - we got LO a tiger rocking "horse". There are also airplane ones that are cute!

I'm going to be annoyed if our parents (the grandparents) try to give all the "cool" gifts to our kid! I'm planning on telling them what to get our kids so this situation doesn't happen to me!

I like the wagon idea though!

those are all things on my LOs list too

they don't necessarily have to be things he'll play with NOW but maybe for the future?

My little lady will be a year in December, and honestly, she loves boxes!! I don't think we are really going to get her anything for the holidays or her bday. We did get two hand me down convertible car seats from my sister- we *might* get a new one? But I can't think of why. I do love the wagon idea. I love the Wishbone Flip 2-in-1, but someone gave us a plastic fisher price scooter/walker thing, so I can't even justify that.

Wow you are so lucky! Those are all things I wish ppl would get my LO. Unfortunately I have a feeling my ILs will be getting her a ton of stuff but not much she needs.

What about making him something? We always make the nieces and nephew a small clothes hanging plaque matching their room decor. Plan to do the same for M.

@winniebee: I'm so glad you started this thread! Now i know what to get LO for x-mas...the pathfinder wagon. Although, the rocking chairs from PBK are sweeeet.
