I read that the recline feature on the Ignite is very limited. For those that have this stroller, is the recline enough where your LO can sleep comfortably? Do you wish you would have gotten a different stroller that can recline more?

i think my maclaren quest has a similar recline (we have the ignite at my parents' house, but rarely use it because they live in the burbs). i don't think most umbrella strollers have that great of a recline.

@Mrs. Bee: Thanks! I stopped by Buy Buy Baby but they didn't have the Ignite there for me to see. They showed me the G-luxe which reclines pretty far back which I liked but it's also way more expensive. Wasn't sure if the better recline feature is something worth paying more for!

@dolphin: the ignite's handlebars are a little tall, similar to the g-luxe. the handlebars on the quest are shorter. so the ignite is a great alternative to the g-luxe.
do i think the g-luxe is worth almost 4x the price of the ignite? not really. but it does have features like the big sunshade, and standing up when folded that are really important to me, esp since we use our strollers every day. the sunshade on the ignite is as crappy as the one on maclaren's, which is pretty annoying.
so it all depends on whether you think those features are worth the extra price!

We have the Ignite - we didn't want to spend too much on a stroller since LO hates strollers and we only use it very occasionally (example, at the zoo). It doesn't recline all the way back, but it reclines enough so that she can sleep pretty comfortably. The sunshade isn't very large and the whole stroller isn't very sturdy, so I wouldn't recommend it for someone who plans on using it everyday. If it's for sporadic use, like us, I think it works very well!

@Mrs. Bee: Thanks! The umbrella stroller will be mainly used for traveling. We have the Cruz as our every day stroller that's been working for us. Smaller sun shade I can live with since it's not going to our every day stroller, but I guess my main concern is the recline feature since she tends to fall asleep in our current stroller so I just want to make sure it's comfortable!

@dolphin: for travel it's fine! my kids have always been able to sleep in a stroller no matter the recline though!

We bought one for our 2 y/o when we went to Disney. She was comfortable in it for short naps and the sun shade was not a problem. We have really enjoyed it and she likes it. It was a great purchase for us. We use it mainly for shopping and walking around the block.

We bought this stroller for travel but if I could, I would have paid more for a better umbrella stroller. My LO sleeps in the ignite fine but for me, it more about the maneuverability of the stroller. For me, the ignite requires more effort and 2 hands to steer/turn with my LO in it (~28 lbs). We still have our Uppababy but at the time, if the gluxe was out, I would have purchased that instead.
