I flew at 28 weeks and my doc provided a note.

I flew at 30 and had no problems. Security wouldn't let me go through the scanners though. They insisted that I not be exposed to the radiation

i flew at 30 weeks and had no problems--no one asked. if you're really worried you could get the doctor's note just in case, but you probably won't need it especially if you're carrying small.

regarding scanners--i asked not to go through them and opted for a patdown instead, but then i read that the scanners give less radiation than what you get from actually being on a plane. sigh.

I flew at 32 weeks (London to Toronto to NYC) on Air Canada. I had a note from my GP saying I was fit to fly and that I wasn't experiencing any signs of early labor, but I was never asked to show it. It wasn't required, but since we were moving back to the US I wanted to make sure we had all our ducks in a row.

I just flew at 30 weeks. I asked my doctor if I needed a note, and he said no. Nobody gave me a hard time, in fact, everyone at security and the gate was very accommodating and nice! I flew Southwest. Have fun!

If I don't fancy the car journey and I still intend to go to a wedding in Germany at 32wks, I'll be flying there and then back at 33wks. It never occurred to me I might need a doctors/midwife note.

I flew at 30 and 31 weeks, the only issue I had was feeling really uncomfortable on my final flight home. I didn't bother to get a note. We flew Southwest, so I checked in with the gate agent and asked for early boarding- we got to board second after the first class/super mega gold membership people or whatever they are called.

@Foodnerd81: Southwest gives pregs priority boarding! You just tell the gate attendant and you get to board in the first group! It was awesome:)
