I have this one:

I've also had a Kitchen Aid one, but it only lasted about a year, which isn't worth it at all. I love, love, love my Cuisinart though. I do all kinds of things with it from shredding cheese and slicing vegetables to making dough to making dip. It's fantastic, and I highly recommend it. I think the 9 cup one would also be more than enough, too, but the 11-cup is what I ended up getting.

I have one that we received as a wedding gift but it isn't open yet. It is a Kitchenaid 7 cup processor! Can't wait to use it but we have no space right now!

I'm going to watch this! I don't have a food processor either but I think I'm in the market for one!

@Mrs. Blue: good to know! Thanks! Cooks illustrated updated their recommendation earlier this year to a 14 cup cuisinart one after their fav kitchen aid was discontinued, but 14 cups seems HUGE! We have a small kitchen, so that's a big (or should I say small, lol, I'm so lame!) consideration for us. : )

@mrs. bird: Space was one of my concerns as well. I occasionally have to split something up and process it in two batches, but only if I'm making a LOT of something. Maybe when we're a family of 4 and not 2, I'll wish for the bigger one, but right now, I love that it fits in my cabinet, doesn't take up toooo much space, and almost always is sufficient for the job.
P.S. Now, I'm really hungry for this caramel-pecan tart recipe that the crust is made in the food processor. Yum.

We have cuisinart 7 cup one as well (received as a wedding gift). It's a bit bulky and it's just me and hubby at home so our mini food processor works fine for us for now. can't wait till we have LOs so we can bust it out and use that bad boy!

We have a Cuisinart 12c one, I love it. We don't use it daily, but about 2x a month it comes out and it's always worked like a dream. Easy to keep clean (as long as wash it before everything gets crusty) We never put it in the dishwasher though, we want it to last a LONG time.

@Mrsbells: Yes, as long as you don't let it sit for a long time. I like to at least rinse of the blades/attachments right away so they don't get food stuck all over. I put everything in the dishwasher, except the blade/attachments, which I prefer to wash by hand to keep them in better condition for longer.

I have the same one as @Mrs. Blue and its pretty cool. Kind of a monster on the counter though. I could take a pic of you're interested in the scale of it.

@MrsCB: I'd love that! Thank you! We have little counter, so it will have to live in a cabinet I think. we have our kitchen aid, 4 slice toaster, our coffee maker, rice cooker & breadbox on the counter all the time, so I'm running out of space

I have this one and love it! http://www.cuisinart.com/products/food_processors/dlc-10s.html
My only complaint is sometimes I feel like its a little small and I have to make multiple batches of the same recipe.

@MrsCB: aww! you're so sweet to take that for me, thank you! we have the same counters, but i love that you have a tile backsplash! we don't have one =/ food processors are big aren't they?!?
@travelingbrit: sounds like the 7 or 9 is a little too small, maybe the 11 cup would be good.

@MrsBrewer: Thanks!
@mrs. bird: NP! I actally just realized its Kitchen-Aid, not the Cuisinart Mrs. blue posted, that's embarrassing. And thanks about the backsplash, that was my Christmas present last year from DH :-).

We have a cuisinart 14 cup that I love! I'm really glad we got a large one because I often fill it up.
