We found out we were expecting after about a year and a half of marriage, so not quite in your timeline, but we don't own a house and are not in the financial situation we hope to be in in a year or two. This is something we were ready enough for financially and especially emotionally and we are so excited! Sometimes I do wish we had taken just ONE more trip, but we are so excited to also travel with our family.

Yes we got pregnant within a year of trying. We had already been together almost 10 years, owned a home together already for a few, combined finances for a few years as well. Being together we dicny really need that "first" year of marriage,
We moved our TTC plans up when my BIL passed away suddenly. Losing someone so young so suddenlyade is realized all those "thing" we wanted to accomplish prior to TTC was...,, pointless to us. Having a family trumped making more money, getting licensed, etc etcWe would absolutely do it all over again.
But you have to do what's right for you and your husband.
