How do you feel about the "Children after 35" stigma and the increased risks for pregnancies/babies?
I'll be 33 in July...I always thought I would crank my kids out before I hit 35 (we want 2-3), but it took 9 mos to get preg with H which really messed up my timeline, and TBH, I'd like to enjoy her (and not being pregnant!) for a while before we TTC #2 (which I kind of expect to take a while)...So if we have 3, it looks like I'll be over 35 for sure...
Will the Over 35 Stigma alter your timeline or change your plans?
I'm kind of surprised that I care less about it now...I still worry about Downs Syndrome increased risks, but not enough to force me to get KU right away!
I've been feeling great throughout my pregnancy, and quite frankly I'm still waiting for the shoe to drop with 5 weeks left (I know it's possible that something bad could crop up between now and then, but things are going rather well). I do have some complications (large fibroids and a gestational diabetes diagnosis that I don't agree with and hasn't affected the baby in any way), but none of them are specifically because I am an old lady.
