We have the Uppababy Cruz stroller and ever since the beginning DD was always facing me. I love being able to see her face when we go out on strolls! Tomorrow we are doing a 5k walk and I'm wondering if I should switch it to forward facing so she can look around. Shes never been forward facing before so i dunno if she would even like it. What would you do? How old was your LO when you switched your stroller to forward facing?

We started forward facing him at around 5 months? He likes it!

We switched at 9.5 months, he was starting to crane his neck to look around better

My LO is nine months and we still swap back and forth depending on the situation.

We put dd in the BOB around 14 weeks, she loves it! Our mall stroller has the option to face me and she loves that too.

We JUST started forward facing this past week (close to 6.5 months). I think sometimes she feels a little panicked when she can't find me (i.e. first time in the BOB). Yesterday, we were out for awhile in the UBV, and I switched the seat from FF to RF back and forth a couple of times. I think she enjoyed the variety and I like being able to see her!

We still swap back and forth depending on the environment but we first switched her to FF at around 6 months and she LOVED it. When she's napping or when there's too much stimulation, we like to switch her to rear facing.

Just an FYI the Race may be kinda packed and all he could see is other peoples backs. He may be more comfortable facing you unless it's a wide course with lots of space.

This is the one thing I don't like about our BAgile...no option to RF! Although maybe it's a good thing because I selfishly want to be able to see him all the time
In your situation I think I would start out FF, but if it seemed like it was too much stimulation or she wanted to be able to see you, I might switch back to RF. Although, I don't know how easy it is to switch back and forth.

We've always done a FF stroller.

we switched to front facing (in the bob) at around 4 months and she loves it. She goes into a quiet trance just staring at everything, and then usually falls asleep after a while.
